Application has been made by the Company to the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the Ordinary Shares to be issued on exchange to be listed on the Official List and admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

The new Ordinary Shares to be issued will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares. Listing and admission of the Ordinary Shares, and delivery of the Ordinary Shares to exchanging holders pursuant to the Invitation, is expected to occur on 19 January 2018.

Following the issue and delivery of the Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Invitation, the total number of Ordinary Shares and voting rights in the Company will be 764,282,574. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.

So, the increased ordinary shares + increased market cap is 'expected' to occur today.

I believe we've already had the dilution when the VWAP happened but we are in a period where no-one is 100% sure what is happening or how the market will react so that is being exploited in the normal market way of shafting PI's with BOT trading

When things become clear I'm expecting a climb in the share price but that may be quite a while away.

In the meantime there is the death of a thousand cuts to suffer

I think every little rise will be sold into at the moment I'm afraid.

With a 40% equity dilution I think the current price is incredibly generous.

Also, the potential for POO to pullback after a strong rally increases the risk here even furthur.

It sort of gives the impression here that PMO got Jeffries to 'put a bit of money behind the bar' to provide some initial support but that has all been supped now and we are back to the sell bots walking it down relentlessly.

A big disappointment after the start and I'm not even sure if the new shares have happened yet as the RNS said 'expected to' and we've not had any confirmation

The announcement of a convertible bond call is associated with an average contemporaneous abnormal stock price decline of 1.75% and an ensuing price recovery in the conversion period. A price fall and the subsequent recovery suggest price pressure as the explanation for the announcement effect. However, in general the option to convert is not exercised early and hence, the increase in the number of shares outstanding does not occur at the announcement date. Instead, this paper argues and provides evidence that hedging-induced short selling causes at least part of the short-run price pressure.

Thanks, missed the Varadero FO on the 12th

Varadero FO isn't linked to gas export.

If you listen to this they appear to be taking wells on in turn (part of the clean up plan). They are coming in great - first two tested up at 20kbopd each!

There is going to be loads of well potential to keep Catcher at the 60kbopd for years to come..... I'd expect a de-bottle necking think tank later this year.

For what its worth, recovery plays are best ridden in the early phases of cost reducton/revenue enhancement etc. Once the corporate reorganisation and debt restructuring phase is entered you have to be aware that the investment can become a much longer term and yes, more complex, entity.
