23/1/2018 07:27 | Here's the full guidelines Can get up to 3 months commisioning consent. They'll need about two thirds...... | ![]() oilretire
23/1/2018 07:24 | Thanks for that oilretire - I’ve not been at the sharp end (commissioning/start | ![]() adg
23/1/2018 07:18 | I'd be surprised if their flare consent would allow them to produce that much oil... or at the production rate that it suggests. So my assumption would be that they must be exporting gas... Flaring consents are generally cumulative so it'll be a monthly/annual limit rather than spot rate. Also commissioning periods tend to be granted a higher consent than the norm. It is recognised that during the appraisal, commissioning and production phases of a development, the flaring or venting of some gas is unavoidable. The OGA requires that this flaring or venting should be kept to the minimum that is technically and economically justified. | ![]() oilretire
23/1/2018 07:15 | From today’s ops update from Cairn Energy; “First oil from the Catcher Area development was successfully delivered in late December. The Operator has reported that the first two production wells from the field have been tested at rates in excess of 20,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) each, in-line with expectations and reflecting the high productivity from initial flush production. As planned, production levels are being held at 20,000 bopd while commissioning of the full gas processing modules and the water injection systems on the FPSO are carried out. Production will continue to ramp up in phases over the next few months with full production of 60,000 bopd targeted in H1 2018. Total project capex is forecast by the Operator to be 30% less than the original project sanction estimate.” | ![]() adg
23/1/2018 07:11 | I doubt they would get consent to flare that much gas so either gas comp up and running or a lesser load ? | ![]() adg
23/1/2018 07:10 | seny - not yet Update from CNE today: First oil from the Catcher Area development was successfully delivered in late December. As planned, production levels are being held at ~20,000 bopd while commissioning of the full gas processing modules and the water injection systems on the FPSO are carried out. 23/1/2018 05:54 | They must be flaring the gas produced and producing far more than was previously mentioned. I wasn’t aware if Catcher can export the gas produced but if they can then that’s more revenue. The first offload will take longer as I imagine they will be testing/calibrating the offload systems. I will be keeping an eye this afternoon on marine traffic for the Navion departure and hoping for an RNS tomorrow. PMO looking great now and Catcher is a fantastic asset. | seny81
23/1/2018 05:36 | seny, thanks for that update.. Do you have a source for that info, as there's nothing showing on marinetraffic? I'd be surprised if their flare consent would allow them to produce that much oil... or at the production rate that it suggests. So my assumption would be that they must be exporting gas... But I don't know for sure - I'm just putting 2 & 2 together.. | ![]() steve73
23/1/2018 05:27 | Navion Oslo departing Catcher today hopefully with 500k plus barrels of crude onboard. Anyone aware if Catcher can export gas? | seny81

22/1/2018 14:56 | This has gone for months so they cant use that as an excuse | ![]() marvin9
22/1/2018 14:41 | There was a follow up piece in the Times again today about the FCA being too busy chasing the benchmark [Libor etc] fiddlers to be dealing with the daily fiddlers. That comes as no surprise if you've contacted them over the last year or so as absolutely no interest at all and that is why what is happening at PMO can be done without any fear of repurcussions. They will all be too busy trying to shut the stable door at Carillion now to pay any attention to the wide boys having it away at PMO | ![]() begorrah88
22/1/2018 14:35 | Looks like the drawbridge was deliberately lowered to allow some shorters to close at a couple of pence lower than the would otherwise have done. best part of 350000 gone through in some bitesize pieces [not hitting the book obviously] whilst it only took less than 100000 to take the share price down by 2.5p so probably some mathmatical benefit. Plus they might not be finished yet | ![]() begorrah88
22/1/2018 14:33 | I have to ask, those few people who gone done for share price manipulation; how sodding bad was it compared to PMO. This is as blatant as you get without comment. The Puppet sure has some answering to do along with the so called governing body! | ![]() marvin9
22/1/2018 14:08 | I don't know why I'm so surprised! Definitely another day of frustration and false hope. | bakedbean57
22/1/2018 14:07 | MM's stepping off the bid without any trades to facilitate the take down Annyoying but we did have to expect plenty of games as there are a lot of CB shares that will be offloaded plus the MM's are very accomodating to any shorts that might want to close | ![]() begorrah88
22/1/2018 14:01 | Bots are set to 'hard sell' any buying just gets blown away | ![]() begorrah88
22/1/2018 13:59 | Same pattern as last week Run up in the morning then a determined drive back down in the afternoon I suppose we are going to see a lot of this silliness going on for a while | ![]() begorrah88
22/1/2018 13:59 | Millions of buys to get the share price up and a couple of thousand to drop it just when I thought balance was being returned. Crock of corruption yet again | bakedbean57
22/1/2018 13:10 | I don't know but those undeclared trades are a bloody nuisance again as generally always masked sells! | bakedbean57 |
