Brent is certainly on a charge, Brent Feb18 is 66.65 live. Up from 64.50 at 12.30Gmt on Friday, 3.30% rise since then.

Agree it's a bit odd & Oslo wasn't open, but it's all good as you say.

What's even more odd is Maryven disappearing just in time for FOIL...... just when we could have had a bit of fun with him ;-)

Excellent news.

Does anyone else think it was a little "sneaky" allowing the news to come from the FPSO operator on a non-market-open day... Not only that, but with the market closed for a further 3 days, there's plenty of opportunity for this to be very widely distributed before the inevitable Wednesday morning RNS before the market next opens.

Should be a nice uplift on the open (IMHO)... and perhaps the start of a major short closing and conversion of bonds.
