We know that shorting is to do largely with risk neutralisation by the cbhs. So what we need is some positive momentum in poo and a good TU so that they lose control or some leftfield news like Zama but regarding asset sales

Hey Begorrah do number of shorts have impact on underlying value of the business?

Just about record high for the shorters

11.97% now over .5% declared

...and TD thinks it is the retail investors causing the share price to falter.

Either has no clue whatsoever or is deliberately trying to deflect from what we can all see

From iii onedb ?onedb16?The best climbs are the steady ones . The swings and volatility can often catch people out. In fairness with Catcher and the rest , plus a really good Brent piece, PMO will steadily rise past 100/110. I retain a 180 target for 2018 . Once am back in the Uk I will update my TA view.. It's already a good sign that various analysts are now warmimg up to 100/110 levels. I remember when last year the same was happening with FXPO . Initial targets of 100 became 160 then 200 etc etc till the share reached over 300. Over extending my 240 target when i posted my view in the 70s. Pmo has the potential to repeat that success and pay for another December month abroad in the sunshine :-) Few more days of holidays left . In the meantime the trend is obvious and the initial 100p is my target I added yesterday at 79 on the open . Best wishes to allonedb1

Beg - the CB's were issued in 2007, then re-negotiated in 2012. From the RNS's issued late last year, I'm sure they were hoping they could have got away with paying off the CB's this time around - as the share price in January seemed to suggest, but they already had us over a barrel. The CBHs will be keeping the short pressure on us for a while yet, as I'm sure they don't want to be forced to convert.

Providing we can accelerate paying off debt, then we should be able to free those shackles.. My main concern is that the debt holders will be encouraging us to commit additional debt for the next big projects (Zama, FI, etc) so they can keep us firmly under their thumb. The next update should give us some pointers whether Tony is their pet dog, or whether he works for the shareholders.

All on same page is good to see! PMO have done two international II roadshows this year taking into account multiple countries, every time I challenge on their success rate get shot down but basically they've been glugging champers and gin and gain no or very little II involvement... Stated Catcher Foil is the catalyst to II investment... see how that pans out.
