20/12/2017 08:37 | Ah well, must have been an earlier phone call today Hedgies: Toneee? TD: What? I haven't done anything Hedgies: There's interest in the share price again TD: I can assure you it is absolutely nothing I've done. I've gone out of my way to stop any interest in the share price for ages now. Hedgies:Well that's true but is someone in your company suggesting Foil is close? TD: None of them have got a clue what is going on - I keep them all in the dark Hedgies:OK, we'll let you have 74.5p today but that is it | begorrah88
20/12/2017 08:17 | Encouraging start now down to TD to turn up with his RNS | begorrah88

20/12/2017 01:20 | It looks as if the signal is dropping out frequently, and the position defaults the that of the "port"... the FPSO itself looks to be rotating OK. Normally the FPSO turret mooring buoy is pretty firmly fixed. The anchor chains allow regular (tidal) up & down movement without changing the location, although very strong winds, currents, or waves will cause it to move by a couple of meters in any direction. The AIS positioner would normally be located in the communications room in the "safe area" accommodation block, which for Catcher is at the stern. Since the "fixed point" is towards the bow (maybe around 15-20% back), you would expect to see the AIS "image" clearly rotating about that. Compare this to offloads at Solan where the whole shuttle tankers swings about the fixed offloading buoy. | steve73
19/12/2017 21:32 | Ok, I see what you mean now. Maybe that's a rogue reading on the 18th that seems at odds with all the rest. I'd just put it down to AIS inaccuracies rather than anything to be concerned about. I'm also not sure quite how 'fixed' the rotating point will be on a STP buoy mooring system?? | oilretire
19/12/2017 21:19 | I say that because if you replay the movement minute by minute over last 24 hours it appears to move several hundred metres at a time back and forth. Not rotating about a fixed point. | crystball
19/12/2017 21:17 | I reckon it's a dodo not a seagull visiting you in your dreams Marv ;-) | oilretire
19/12/2017 21:11 | The FPSO won't ever be stationary but it won't have been moving that much. What makes you say that? AIS suggests it's hardly moved, 50m max..... given that the FPSO 240m long it's maybe quite feasible to see a couple of hundred m of movement around the mooring bouy & depending on where on the vessel AIS is taking it's location feedback from. DSV still there too....... to the south west at the moment. It'll move around & can appear quite remote to the FPSO at times given the three separate fields getting tied back & the tie in work to the the gas export line. | oilretire
19/12/2017 21:02 | You sure? I had it down as movement of several hundred and.0000002 meters? Go and have a glass of wine lol. Told ya; Mr Seagull said no oil before xmas | marvin9
19/12/2017 21:02 | You sure? I had it down as movement of several hundred and.0000002 meters? Go and have a glass of wine lol. Told ya; Mr Seagull said no oil before xmas | marvin9
19/12/2017 20:51 | BW Catcher has over the last 24 hours been making movements of several hundred metres and is not stationary. I am not sure what is going on at the moment. Does anyone know if the DSV has moved away from Catcher? | crystball
19/12/2017 20:08 | Cannot wait for new year.. profit profit profit. Buy now sell in one week. Purchased once again after todays news | uzzymaz
19/12/2017 17:24 | We'll see..... | oilretire
19/12/2017 16:47 | JAM JAM JAM JAM JAM JAM JAM JAM! But the question is, what flavour will they offer this time! ARF ARF! OINK OINK ;@) Mr Seagull is right | marvin9
19/12/2017 16:11 | Well it's imminent and I thought things would have been a bit further north as the city usually knows......so either the lid is being kept on it or unfortunately we are on for option 1 and they really do have pmo by the balls & control the share price until we get a period of sustained debt pay down.Oh, well as long as ops go well the debt & share price will eventually look after itself, long before oil'retire :-) | oilretire
19/12/2017 16:00 | Whenever it happens I bet the hedge funds can already tell us what the share price will be on that day and how many days it will take to remove any gainYou've got to look at all today's trading to see how it was parked at 72.25p bid and nothing is moving it.Won't be surprised if they give it a slap down before the close | begorrah88
19/12/2017 15:48 | Morning....Well 99.9% ny is wrong, however Mr Seagull is odds on wrong too. However we have to define before Xmas... is that before the market can be told it's before Xmas or before the 25th?? | oilretire
19/12/2017 10:31 | BTW That lid has now been moved down to 72.25p on the bid Obviously decided [had it confirmed?] FOIL won't be happening today | begorrah88
19/12/2017 10:21 | Maybe the call went like this Hedgies: Tony, what's going on? there are mutterings of imminent FOIL? TD: That hasn't come from me! Hedgies: You'd better not be trying to do us over TD: I'm not, I give you my word Hedgies: Your word has no value and you know it TD: OK, I swear on my wallets life that I'm not pushing for FOIL in 2017 Hedgies: You'd better not be | begorrah88
19/12/2017 10:13 | Bid now red Just shows how easy it is for them to take it down an will. No great volume just by ensuring every single sell hits the book I'm sure our turn will come but that'll probably be when the FCA wakes up and questions SETS monopolisation! | begorrah88
19/12/2017 10:10 | Was that last little flurry telling us that 73p is todays cap on the bid? Be nice to have a surge of buying into the afternoon and maybe see a shorter start to question their position. | begorrah88
19/12/2017 08:30 | Looks like share price predictions for xmas is all there is to talk about. Sooooooooooo my price prediction is more the less the same at it is now: Between 71 - 73p. And as said by Mr Seagull; no oil before xmas, no chance. | marvin9
19/12/2017 08:26 | Why not add a no 5? 5: Puppet Durrant gets the well deserved big sized 12 boot and £1.25 within a week! | marvin9 |
