It can't make business sense to be constantly borrowing stock to short it, at a cost, unless you are getting a result and even then your perceived gains are constantly diminishing.

I can't see that the hedge funds are making money here. I think the equation doesn't add up anymore.

Maybe it is warrants but we are in the dark because TD elected to renege on his promise to update at the end of each month.
