True but at least we are heading in the right direction. The potential for hydrogen stocks to grow might have started.

Just to add to juju earlier comment about Australia being 'all in' for a hydrogen economy. The below C&P s from a UK company website ( last week) that works in Australia. If the Australian s can see the opportunity..... why can't our .... leader's ?

-----
Peter Malinauskas, Premier of South Australia, said: “South Australia stands on the cusp of a once-in-a-generation economic opportunity, and I am determined to ensure we seize it.”

“We’re working with industry partners BHP, Origin Energy, Amp Energy and Fortescue to deliver the Northern Water project – to unlock a critical, sustainable supply of water for industrial development in our State’s north.”

“This is a pivotal part of our plan to lead the world with renewable hydrogen energy and boost green steel and copper production. And will bring thousands of new jobs while significantly growing our economy.”

I think most governments that are unable to produce oil are very keen to promote hydrogen as the next fuel and more emphasis will be put on governments to reduce carbon emissions come summer when no doubt heatwaves and fires caused by drought will be happening once again.

Best of luck

I agree, producing hydrogen by wind or solar is very expensive. However, imo the main issue has been the chicken and egg scenario. Until now, no one wanted to spend millions on producing infrastructure to produce hydrogen when there is very few places to sell it. Vice versa, no one was going to build machines that consume hydrogen when you can’t buy the fuel. This is why the government will be helping to stimulate the hydrogen market by blending it into the grid. I know through my own line of work that this is coming, and big time. I can’t say much other than Project Union. So get ready for the hydrogen market to boom.

Hydrogen is the way forward unfortunately oil lobbyists have been winning the battle with governments across the globe.

The issue for most companies into Hydrogen is whether they can produce hydrogen at a reasonable price the issue for PHE is whether they can produce hydrogen at all.

Yes Graham, it's been too long - no one can argue with that. This is what happens with hopeless management, and boy have Powerhouse had some hopeless management - groan. But we look forward with hope.

With the labour party following the Tories on slashing their future investments in Clean tech, we may as well abandon any hope for our Fuel Cell stocks. Britain was behind the rest before !, a lost cause now. Such a shame, but like previous Powerhouse management, if the management aren't interested the best we can hope for is not to sink.

My opinion only.

The reason it hasn’t been manufactured yet is because there was no hydrogen economy. But it is now coming, and coming in a big way. The demand for hydrogen is set to go through the roof.

Like myself (PM) - Graham (ITM) is sat holding a fuel cell share that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Frustrating Eh !

Powerhouse energy's DMG is a FOAK - in it to win it.

Sounds like you both want to be negative on this for a reason. Typical derampers.

Research the directors of National H2

Lots of fingers in lots of companies but none actually producing any revenue.

Sounds like another scam to me.

The site looks good to me with lots of info. All links work for me. If you're looking for negatives I'm sure you'll find them if you look hard enough, but the Australian government seem to want their country to be world leaders in hydrogen production and development. Just wish the UK government could be as positive and support innovative companies like PHE

Don’t worry Tenapen, it is Powerhouse. PHE are mentioned multiple times in this document. Expect the timelines to be updated very soon…

Some people are taking it more seriously than you, perhaps because they know more about it?

See for example:

and the paper that started all the fuss:

Unless you have institutional access you'll have to pay to read either of them in full.

Smells of trying to get news out whilst there is an attempt this week to try and get a certain word 'hydrogen' to become vogue.Away from powerhouse, certain people are writing makeshift articles and trying to get hydrogen to be a buzz word so they can benefit (profit) if they manage to create a frenzy over it. The same people will later switch back to pumping lithium or bitcoin etc again.Know their game. There's no such thing as a limitless supply of hydrogen and all that talk of centuries worth of it trapped in reservoirs beneath us is laughable. I didnt realise the earth was like edam....like they want to be believed.Oh dear.

You're biased.

It's totally vacuous - apart from being inept (all the links fail while the useless popup's there!) - it's full of generalities and pious promises. If it's so good, tell me who owns the company. Or who runs it. Or how much money they have. Or anything more specific about their plans than 'we will raise oodles of money in order to exploit the government grants becoming available'.

And this hydrogen megastar of the future is run out of what looks like a serviced office in Sydney. Anybody who thinks this is a serious business proposition should browse the site for themselves:

I see no point in looking further into this - perhaps someone else will take a look at their company registration information? Wouldn't surprise me to see a White turn up. Or even a Bond!
