Dont be fooled. Nobody here has invented anything new. Gasification is just a euphemism for burning.

scrutable - sober again I see - excellent. No good complaining about me being supercilious - if you're going to post gibberish, I'll feel free to point it out.

'quote ... verbatim' - I can't say I like it, but it isn't offensive. Why did you do it when you knew it was tautological? At least it's still English, I suppose.

'This assembly ...' - well maybe - do you think any old claim by any old company is always worth a call on the offchance that what they're saying is true, despite all the evidence to the contrary? I'm doubtful myself - people usually have better things to do.

'I don't think ...' - oh dear, behind on your research again. I suggest you Google 'plasma gasification' and read on from there. That sort of temperature isn't even particularly high.

'The point is ...' - exactly - no-one can. As for me proving it doesn't, don't be silly - it's up to them to convince the market not for me or anyone else to prove them wrong. My scepticism is based on a consistent record of failure since the inception of the company, combined with its current absolute lack of corporate governance.

'look at the impressive Velocys ...' As you would know if you bothered to read the advfn thread, I've been looking hard at the 'impressive' Velocys since it was Oxford Catalysts. On the other hand, I don't seem to remember you posting there, back in the day?

Hi Scrutable - here to administer the kiss of death? When I read 'what I thought was a unique, much needed solution, without dioxins or other toxic gases as bi-products [sic] or clogging vitreous residuesd [sic] , to defeat the ever rising tide of garbage around the world' I thought for a split second that you'd discovered irony!

Sadly, on further reflection, I conclude you actually believe this load of old tripe. What on earth makes you imagine that a video of a bizarre assemblage of rusty old pipes in the far corner of somebody's abandoned warehouse would induce even the teeniest flicker of interest from a respectable municipal authority?

The fact that it comes from a minuscule company running on fumes provided by an Aussie millionaire entrepreneur who seems to be struggling to make ends meet, only serves to make the idea even more absurd.

PS apropos Nano - is a 'film coder' a synonym for 'film coater'? Or just a homonym? I think we should be told. Or perhaps not - there are so many other typos in your 'transcription' that I suspect you may have hit the bottle before posting. Tut tut, you should know better...

The successful completion of trials in Brisbane should have set off a blizzard of enquiries from municipal authorities around the world for what I thought was a unique, much needed solution, without dioxins or other toxic gases as bi-products or clogging vitreous residuesd, to defeat the ever rising tide of garbage around the world.

Why is this not happening?
