15/9/2000 14:59 | Hmmm. I'm already breaking even in spite of the premium. | kayak
15/9/2000 14:52 | Just bought 2 x NMS at 197p, a premium of 5p at the time. All three market makers were quoting the same premium, and after my purchase they have been raising their prices without any trades. Very short of stock and/or they know something. | kayak
15/9/2000 14:34 | The more the merrier , if you have any information at all please email me on dil@totalise.co.uk as its been difficult to find out much about these except that the management seem worth backing. Dil | dil
15/9/2000 14:27 | Dil, I've heard a lot about these the last few days. If I'm right there will be a few people in these shortly if they keep rising. I'll probably have another look on Monday. EV | e-venturer

11/9/2000 16:08 | Nice one Hawkeye , go and buy a few more more tomorrow and see if you can give it another kick . Dil | dil
11/9/2000 09:35 | Dipped my toe in today for the third time since mid August. Like you, Dil, I have bought on the strength of the management. I don't think it will ever be a sky rocket, just a nice steady banker. JonC, I would have liked to stick it in my PEP as a long termer but I fear we are caught out by that stupid AIM rule. hawkeye | hawkeye
11/9/2000 08:47 | Breakout :-) Dil | dil
10/9/2000 10:29 | JonC : Did you buy ? Dil | dil
04/9/2000 06:41 | JonC , Can't find much out about these but put a few in the pension fund as the management look as though they could be worth backing given that they've done it twice before. Dil | dil
01/9/2000 15:37 | Dil, No but soon will be. This looks like another candidate for my pep. Regards Jon C | jonc
01/9/2000 15:27 | Starting to move , anyone else in ? Dil | dil
18/8/2000 06:48 | Cheers Hawkeye. Already have a few but will be taking a closer look at these over the weekend. Seriously undervaled in my opinion. Dil | dil
16/8/2000 20:31 | Dil, Hard work to find the thread without a search facility! Just to add to your intro on Potential, they got a decent write-up in the 4th Aug IC. The main points were: a. The company founders were previously joint MDs of Singer & Friedlander Factors and have a track record of increasing profits with negligable bad debts. b. They have 80 clients and with approx 10 new clients per month, they hope to secure 500 clients over the next three years. c. Euro Sales Finance, the only quoted competitor, is on a forward p/e of 84 compared to 13 for Potential. d. The market is fragmented with more than 50 factors in the UK, mostly linked to banks. Looks like a good seed to nurture and allow to grow over the longer term. Might turn out to be a perennial rather than a .com annual! hawkeye | hawkeye
14/8/2000 18:15 | Read this article from Covered in Small Company Share Watch at the weekend with broker Charles Stanley forecasting 0.75million pretax for the year to 30/09/00 rising to 1.5million for the year ending 30/09/01. Given that the market cap is only around 16.5million at present and 30% minimum growth should be achievable for a number of years to come starting from such a low base and add to that the experienced management who have been here before and it doesn't take a genius to see the pontential.
