Posted at 11/6/2010 16:35 by skyship Watching POT, but it seems to me that these are headed back to the $90 level: |
Posted at 02/12/2009 16:43 by skyship For better or worse decided to take $126 for POT - a 15% gain on the share price + a 10% currency gain - that'll do me as I want to build up cash; though have bought the agriculture ETF - "AGAP" with part of the proceeds. At 402p I think there could be 25% in that over the next year... |

Posted at 13/4/2009 11:02 by skyship PIP & ASH - Could you post the EPIC for POT in Canada pls...TSE:POT perhaps!? |
Posted at 11/3/2009 19:30 by ashbox Yes, well done on your investment pip - doing very well since you got in. I subscribe to Moneyweek and read the article with interest as I have been in (and out and in) to POT since January and have made a decent profit on the way. I was in from CAD 84 the other day but sold yesterday for CAD 94. A nice profit but should have held on! I would like to buy as a longer term hold but there seems to be so much volatility in the price at the moment that profit taking just becomes too tempting. I must wait for a pull-back, hopefully below 90, to get back in. I'm hoping that the train hasn't permanently left the station.....! |
Posted at 10/3/2009 16:35 by pip_uk Good article in last weeks Money week extolling the virtues of Potash. This company, POT, has their attention. A good chance to buy and hold with all the the world mouths to feed in the future. Put my money where my mouth is, and bought in today. Share price today looking very strong. Cheers. |
Posted at 28/10/2007 22:39 by baner in my view, there will be a merger between POT and Private & Commercial - have a look at the shareholder register and you will see why. there is no reason for the principal shareholder in the respective company to pay for two plc-structures. in fact there is every reason not to do so! the very likely scenario is for P&C to bid for POT, which trades at a clear discount to its NAV. upside in this should be 25-35%. |
