10/12/2001 19:40 | DonnyDave, good call i guess if you sold prior to entrenchment, I did not, although it is not overtly concerning me, although it would have been nice to sell yesterday and buy back in to-day. But we do not all have crystal balls I am afraid. Nonetheless, this is a share to hold in a long term portfolio if such a thing does exist in todays market. I have started one and this one has been logged onto to it. Whilst I think my weighting is large enough on this one if it does dip further I shall incease my holding, and I see a "heads you win -tails you win" syndrome on this one. Ramp ?? no not at all, indeed the last few days I have noted a number of trade buys to support the logic - in fact even two trade buys today . | innovation99
10/12/2001 11:19 | Originally a buyer at 163p, I have kept faith with this company. They were certainly oversold at 80p as they have not put a foot wrong in meeting their projections. I'm dismayed to see the effect of two small sell orders today when last Friday's director purchase of 10,000 shares at 101p produced no reaction. In my view the shares deserve to be at or above their previous peak of 220p. I've increased my holding and am staying invested. | rokar
10/12/2001 11:10 | I envisage a retracement to around the one pound per share level, I have sold my holding (for now) & purchased "SPO" but will be Monitoring "POT" with a view to buying again around those levels, Profit takers should stop this one from rising for a small while. Though it is still a v.good long term buy. | donnydave
08/12/2001 13:27 | I have just seen the recorded interview on bloomberg with the ceo Mr Rutter. As he says, the product ie debt financing (factoring etc ) is a growth market particularly when it starts to get tough out there. They are now in profitability and have achieved greater credibility within "the city". Worth a punt at this share price. If you don't believe me look at the chart. Good fundamental and technical aspects. | red army

05/12/2001 11:56 | DonnyDave, I could not believe my luck when I was able to buy in at 80p so near the results. Although Potential has only been up and running since October 1999, it was exhibiting all the signs of profitable growth. The three-year £25m funding agreement with GE Capital was the biggest indicator of all that this share was totally undervalued and the directors knew this hence their buying spree. It amazes me that when all the writing is on the wall punters still cant see it. This one will be a growth and sucess story, if only because GE Captial do not fund losers. | innovation99
03/12/2001 18:55 | Lots of response there then ! | donnydave
03/12/2001 16:14 | Its about time someone started a B.B. on this stock its been overlooked to long . Now that the prelims are out (and they,re pretty encouraging too) has anyone any views on this company? The directors have been buying chunks of it for a long time - they seem to have faith in Potential Finance. An agreement has been reached with G.E. over future funding & everything is looking very rosy in this particular garden . This one has been way oversold......... Heres to a long & POTENTIALy prosperous future with POT !!!! Over to you. | donnydave
03/12/2001 10:47 | JonC, thought I might find you on this thread this morning. I think we might claim today's chart as one for the breakout thread :-) Nice to see things are going as advertised and according to plan. I still have a small holding in these on behalf of my grandaughter (6 years), so I'm not expecting them to come good rapidly but come good they will. | hawkeye

28/4/2001 08:18 | JonC, Hi there. Intersting thread. Have you ever taken a look at Dynamic Commercial Finance, relatively new to AIM? It's very illiquid but some good names went into it on the float - it's also said to be (POT-entially) another ESF. See you at EAMRIC soon ? tightfist | tightfist |
