Today FRES down 2% and POLY down 1.3%.

Yes quite right, consolidation news this morning regarding
pog and ugc. Talk that the combined group will be bigger than
Poly. I feel you could see Poly enter the consolidation space
to very soon, maybe my other hgm could be a target.

The list of companies maintaining or increasing their dividends dwindles day-by-day. POLY has the ability to be the last man standing - worth holding/buying for that reason alone.

It's relentless isn't it, everytime I consider profit taking, it sets off... I suppose PoG and silver is important, but perhaps its cheap input costs (oil) and dividend hunters will drive this onwards?

Would agree it should be higher - looking for £20+ - even then at significant discounts to Barrick, Freemont and Newcrest - but perhaps I'm a little more relaxed about Russia.

POLY mines 20+ million oz of silver a year as well as the gold - price action on silver at the moment can't be doing it any harm at all.
