All

Yes I am here too, I have a few gold
related, hgm, ggp and sve. It is important to buy when the pe is right.
As the eps increases so can the share price so you can continue to
accumulate. If the production is there and the massive gold price,
I continue to buy all the above.

Hi Spawny , yes I bought at 10 ish & happy with it. Still has many attractions (per my earlier post) and if it helps when I bought in I thought I was late too!Management seem to be good at adding to its attractions and think the whole sector it's in is overdue a big retake given what's going on out there. Regards,Source.

Dang was looking at this one around £10 but didn't buy any and it's run away from me. Super quiet board given the huge rise recently.

Yep. Nice to see the attractions of Polymetal being noticed. Being in FTSE100 probably helps as well as being in the hot sector currently. Seems relatively undervalued still with a healthy dividend of approx 4% , which is rather regularly topped up with special dividend payments too. Sold growth ahead of it too with nice production & exploration growth too. Lot to like really compared to deteriorating fundamentals of lots of other companies currently. Regards,Source.

If they are using oil as their energy source, they must be saving a lot of money?

Good Q1 figures - Reveunes would have been 16% higher if not for Chinese concentrate problems which will reverse in Q2 (and may be beneficial depending on POG moves) - but production and sales up anyway.

Did like:-

"Management acknowledges material devaluation of Russian Rouble and
Kazakh Tenge since the beginning of the year. However, given the
highly volatile macroeconomic background, we currently maintain the
full-year guidance of US$ 650-700/GE oz for TCC and US$ 850-900/GE oz
for AISC. The guidance will be revisited along with 1H results."

"Polymetal remains committed to its dividend policy and does not intend
to change the previously announced final dividend recommendation of
US$ 0.42 per share or US$ 197 million in total for FY 2019, which is
due to be paid on 29 May 2020 (subject to the AGM approval on 27 April
2020)."

With PAF the SA situation always worries me - however, if they are left to get on with it they should do well.

Thanks, I guess most are pricier now... I will review after I've reduced my fresnillo holding , probably after the dividend record date in a few weeks.

AAU in Turkey & Cyprus. Operating JV mine in Turkey. Second one in 2,yrs. Lots of exploration as well. Big Conglomerate wanting to buy in and accelerate projects. This could lead to a special payment. Capex cleared by end of this month expecting to lead to a dividend policy. Gold & Silver and Cyprus will be copper. One of the lowest cost producers & $15 per oz discovery cost. Skin in the game.....

Ihold poly, hgm and ggp in the sector and all doing well
as is gold. The dividend paying shares I feel will command
a premium. I too am happy to hold and accumulate.

Agreed, it's just that I'm up 70% here, and I'm tempted to take profits, and put them somewhere daft, like Hothschild?

All depends on the discount you put on it for operating in Russia.

Analysts have a consensus TP of £14 - although this might be behind the curve due to recent POG moves.

Fwd PER here is @11 that for Barrick is 31.

I'm comfortable adding up to £20 at the moment - BWTFDIK.
