Nothing specific - just looking at the ytd chart. My guesstimate is something like 1680 - so the same.

Still seems to be not liked so much - maybe it's the debt, maybe it's Russia, maybe it's pandemic uncertainty. But has not taken off like other gold shares, despite being the best funded and with the best cashflows. Even today, quick 20p dip just now. Expensive cup of coffee...

OVB used to be Ovoca Gold, they hold about 9 million quids worth of POLY shares (as well as being the developers of a drug for female libido issues..)

I just searched for 'OVB' - Viagra for women?! I mean Mrs P isn't as young as she used to be, but consume enough wine and she can still manage a bit of mining and exploration...

Not sure of the connection to POLY...

Those are extraordinarily good production results - higher volumes, prices obviously, and no CV19 cases in mines. Better even than FRES, and a lower earnings multiple.

Bit annoying, I was hoping for a pullback, as sold a few yesterday as it reached its previous peak. Still have plenty, but want more...

For precious metals my main bet is HUM, then I have an equal amount of fres and cey, then small amounts in poly, tsg, cora, silver etf and a bit left field mcewen mining.

These are a solid company with some fantastic assets. the devaluation of the rouble also helped cost a lot. Fingers crossed this bull mkt lasts a good few months more.

:-)

Just something of a risk spreading - was happy to concentrate all in FRES at 500 and 600, not so much now, even though they're doing very well. Been a very rapid rise from 800 there. Deserved, but safer to diversify at current levels - it may not be as lucrative (or it may be) but happy to de-risk and guarantee keeping the gains.

Re POLY - thought are as per previous posts here; I don't know it as well as FRES, but going OK so far.

Hi Imastu, sold a few Fres and joined you in these :)

Loving the action in these and a few others. Even my junior Hum is waking up.

To be fair, they wouldn't know. Or shouldn't know. Insider trading 'n all that.

I do agree, the market is undervaluing this at face value. There is known selling by major holders, there is the thing that it is Russia with the associated political risks - it's all stuff that makes the market. I'm happy to hold and trade it, just not as many as twith other producers, specifically FRES. But that's just me, others feel differently.

Production will most likely be impacted to a limited extent by the pandemic - but shouldn't be significant otherwise there should have been an RNS - but to be honest it seems to make little difference elsewhere - e.g. HOC.

I don’t think Oliveira would be buying 80 grand of Poly for the family trust if there were production issues to be released tomorrow. Q2 update will likely wake up the market to POLY. I definitely wouldn’t sell any POLY as it’s about to break out to new highs!
