Fingers crossed Stupid. I wish I had a nice wee pension pot in bound. I would be doing the same with it. Unfortunately I'm already in fully as far as Poly and Fres go so can't buy more at these prices.

Hesitate to say it but there is another clear gap from mid-May in the low 1600s.

Short term pain for long term gain?

Added back Friday's sales of what was in profit (then).

My long-running saga with my former employer pension transfer is (they say) nearing completion; incompetence and arrogance at every turn, but it should be any time now - so hopefully, no harm done with this latest dip here and on FRES. I know where the monies are going when they do turn up, assuming in the next few days.

Not sure what that's got to do with the price of gold

Macron always makes suggestions that hurt other countries but not France.

Lets all stop buying Brie - just think of the methane it'll save.

$1000 to get it out of the ground, like the article says, the cash this company is generating with gold around $1850 for big dividends.https://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2021/06/12/3-uk-dividend-stocks-yielding-6-to-buy-now/

I was wondering about the opening gap...

Sold what I could earlier, and reinvested elsewhere, including a bit of FRES and HOC, but also non-PM stuff.

Odd market.

They will be large buyers of gold, that's why I think $2500 this year.

US inflation hits 5%. It is actually higher in my opinion. Likewise higher than the official figure in the UK.

Yellen hinting at higher interest rates - the USA cannot afford higher interest rates given the amount of debt it now holds - £28 trillion+ and rising fast.

The debt service bill alone will be eyewatering if rates rise.

Must be another special dividend this year, making a fortune with gold over $1800 constantly all year.

Inflation in the USA is the big talking point at the moment with Yellen hinting at higher interest rates.

Anyone here look at the monthly DOW chart and think the last 12 month rise is completely unsustainable given record debt, money printing and inflation? I'm wondering what the trigger might be and where it may fall to? Seriously considering selling most of my stocks and going largely to cash apart from a few potential big multibaggers.
