Here's the fairy's UK picks for tomorrow (she's a T/A only fairy, she pays no attention fundamentals cos she aint gonna be holding long enough to worry what the company sells or if it makes a profit). And she doesn't have emotional attachment to anything!!! Only price action pays, so only price action matters....... LON:ODX LON:DDDD LON:DFS LON:ERGO LON:SCS LON:ACP LON:SERE LON:WEB LON:BVXP

AUTO was banked at 615.8p today despite no green light in the sheet above. This was a discretionary bank due to a gap up. Does anyone here have a suggestion of how to code a "sell on gap up" into an EA or google sheets?

For those interested in fairies, I started entering her suggested "daily" trades in a spreadsheet on Monday 7th June using a conservative 0.25% risk management and a strict set of trade trade management rules that are conditionally formatted into a google sheet using a google finance data feed with a red, amber, green traffic light system to prompt exits. I plan to trial her for a 2/3 months with the end goal of programing her into an EA and have the fairy trade for me while I go waterskiing and fishing. Its early days, but so far the results look pretty impressive considering she's only 42% invested and traded for only 3.5 days. There are no losses because nothing has come near to losing 0.25% of account (yet). The trades banked so far are because the average daily gain exceeded 5% on those stocks, hence green light in the relevant column, so they were banked before the 20% target inline with the account rules. There's also a green (take profit) light on DRV, but as the trade is only open 0.5 of a day I haven't banked it as its not a full "daily avg 5%" gain. The objective is to maximise short-term gain while limiting drawdown to 10% or less My fairy has generated 5 wins, 0 losses and net £1693 in 4 days! Yellows are banked trades.....

Volumes falling away as it drifts lower - back at 200 day ma (again). And has bounced off April peak - possible (probable...) support. All set for inflation news and reaction from PMs. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com

Also every gold and silver producer, it's bumper profits. They are all making a fortune with gold at $1800 steady all year.Another special dividend I expect from Poly, who pay the best dividends.

Correct (more or less). There are also the issue of reserves and assets in the ground (both very strong on that one), as I say 'political' risks - of higher taxes or even appropriation of assets (remote). POLY's risk (I have to assume) is assessed as higher than FRES's. For now.

Poly p.e 10, yield 6%, Fres p.e 23 yield 2.35%. Also no withholding tax on Poly.

It also doesn't mention valuation against its peers, i.e. PM miners such as FRES. The main reason for the valuation (I think) is perceived political risk - higher taxes on 'foreign' business or worse. On face value, absent that, there is nothing out there that comes close to this. Methinks they're testing patience before the H1 results, both here and on FRES. They will be staggering in terms of top line and bottom line growth, at current prices never mind likely higher ones.

At $1800 gold miners are making a fortune, I bet we get another special dividend.

Ironic that the article mentions inflation in terms of cost input as a negative, but neglects the macro outcome for gold. Weak article.

It was rhetorical - it's in the header; I was making the point that the volumes are tiny on this counter move against the price of gold... 3 month (or bit more context on the 6 month) gold chart shows a nice trendline, just been tested and supported. All good, tomorrow looks set for hard cash returns. (can't get any sort of time on a chart now, so basic will have to do - including the latest bounce off the 200 day ma:) https://uk.advfn.com/cmn/chrt/chrt_wrap.php?epic=LSE%3APOLY&name=&type=4&size=2&period=1&ind_type1=1&ind_type2=0&;ind_type3=0&ma_type1=1&o_1maday1=200&o_colour1=1&olx_1=3
