10/5/2021 15:55 | While I think POLY will rise in the future lets not be too over exuberant... ScepticalInvestor - 28 Apr 2021 - 16:41:32 - 1812 of 2251 Polymetal International - POLY well i think 1800 is a def possibility prior to ex div day imo SI - you got a defective crystal ball, take it back to the shop and get a refund! I think someone else posted the same view on a technical resistance level at 1640... | trader536
10/5/2021 15:33 | well i guess it was abt time we have a red day whilst it consolidates | scepticalinvestor
10/5/2021 14:29 | FRES outperforming POLY as expected ;-) $50 silver soon? | trader536
10/5/2021 13:05 | breaking through 1630 - 1650 would be a great level to reach today | scepticalinvestor
10/5/2021 10:43 | high yields, I took part in the rights issue on S4 for around £1.30 from memory share price over a £5 now so doesn't interest me much. WPP again I was a buyer in the low 800s. I know some people there who say they wouldn't invest. They recently got rid of hundreds of staff too. RIO I bought some years ago and held them while they halved in value. UNLVR etc I would say a lot of thease comps valuations look quite high so why not keep them on the watch list and wait for the inevitble market crash/ correction to buy the ones you like. Last year I think we saw LLOY at 25p BARC at £1 CRST at under £2 BDEV at £4ish HOC at 80p ish ENQ at 7p PMO 11p TLW I think around 15p Just got to wait. | auson1
10/5/2021 09:34 | I'd say those who bought at 7-9p will be in profit with a little patience, probably double figs price soon. Gotta be the best microcap copper play on the market, small explorers with zero resources are capped higher, AYM already have the copper. | trader536
10/5/2021 09:26 | Nope. I have genuinely thought about, copper etc. But not with that board. And it's illiquid, spread, ete etc. Just not my bag. Good luck with it - no issue with you ramping it at these prices, more of an issue at 7-9p and the poor sods you got to buy it while you were selling it... | imastu pidgitaswell
10/5/2021 09:11 | Did you trouser a few AYM at 4p stupid? Its not too late ;-) | trader536
10/5/2021 09:06 | 1638-40 still the resistance - but the pullbacks are getting smaller. | imastu pidgitaswell
10/5/2021 08:24 | Someone looking for funds you may want to look at GDX, GDXJ, BRWM | trader536
09/5/2021 19:59 | Shareprice may take a breather next week, don't forget price really is 1680p with the 64p ex dividend added. | montyhedge
09/5/2021 17:18 | Not keen to give advice, I can only say what I do. Don't ever rely on what people put up on BB's - I try to get it right, but we all get things wrong, even if only in error. I know RIO well, but not recently. ULVR also, but have not held - I'm not sure branded products will be as good as they have been in the past, but I've nothing but my own opinion to support that. I used to work in advertising (as a finance person) so I know all about WPP - I just don't like advertising groups as a shareholder; most of the income they generate goes to their directors and employees rather than the shareholder, imho. The others I don't know, sorry. | imastu pidgitaswell
09/5/2021 15:58 | Hi IMASTU PIDGITASWELL, You are much more knowledgeable and experience investor than me. I really appreciate your comments on ADVFN. I hope you don't mind if I give you suggestion to consider some other sectors and companies like WPP, SFOR, BHP, RIO, ULVR, DLG, ITM, CWR ... Any suggestions for some investment funds ?! Thank You! | high yields
08/5/2021 08:24 | Turvart Your see £18.00 when gold hits $1,900 which could be very soon. | chile89
08/5/2021 00:30 | US inflation fears mount as the Fed 'monetises' Joe Biden's deficits US central bank was slow to realise that deflation had turned to reflation after Second World War and is set to make the same mistake | philanderer
07/5/2021 19:50 | I see looking at the chart that Poly bounced off resistance (1635) yet again!, it needs to break through resistance @ 1635 to power up to 1800 area. | turvart
07/5/2021 18:56 | Woodhawk, Thank you very much for that info, I understand why now after your explanation. | turvart
07/5/2021 18:34 | Tuvart, Polymetal are incorporated in Jersey, so there's no stamp duty. Would also apply to companies registered in the Isle of Man and other offshore territories, for instance. For info, there's no stamp duty on AIM shares either. | woodhawk
07/5/2021 17:40 | No one answered my question from earlier, can anyone tell me please why POLY does not have stamp duty on? | turvart
07/5/2021 17:39 | Re post 2009: fuji. If its any consolation I got into ASC at 7p with 5k.and then made a call and put a decent wedge on to another share instead of topping up ASC which I nearly did. I then sold the ASC at 21p.... Kisssd tens of millions of quid good bye! Sorry OT | bagpuss67
07/5/2021 17:25 | trader536, It's not fair imposing this puerile exchange on others here - so - filtered. | woodhawk |
