That's the point I'm making PATT. Exactly that - they cannot get close to running out of cash.

Nigelpm. Fair point but they simply cannot run out of cash. Even if it is Oct 24 that is so close and they must be dealing with it now. Trading won’t create the cash and today’s sale is “expected 2024”. It may hurt holders short term and my point is not that the company cannot thrive. It is simply that now may not be the time to buy. Good luck all holders.

It certainly won't be pretty though for equity. I would think the strategy is land as many deals as possible (who knows at what price given lack of any detail in RNS) before fundraising in an attempt to get as much as possible.

They must have a reasonable chance of landing the funding otherwise they'd already be approaching requirement to disclose insolvent trading.

You are wrong though on timing - per recent RNS -

In August 2023, the Company implemented strict cost control measures. These measures resulted in a cash balance of $6.1m on 31 December 2023 (unaudited), extending the cash runway into October 2024 (previously June 2024).

Nigel. The final accounts to 31/12/23 will be with the auditors and NOMAD right now. They have to 30/6/24 to release accounts. They have to show 12 months cash runway to avoid going concern qualification so will be raising now to get that signed off.

It was the word “expected̶1; that spooked me. What happens if it is not in 2024? Why would an order now not have a certain delivery in 2024?

They must raise cash I think we all agree. Moontheloon seems to think not. He or she is fully entitled to that view. Buti have not been wrong on POLX so far…

PATT - I can't imagine they are trading insolvently so would think they'd had the nod on funding but it won't be at a premium to existing share price!

Look. I love the tech and think it could be great but don’t buy until after the cash raise and only then if they actually might start generating $1m a month in revenue gross margin to cover their costs.

They don’t even have pharmacy benefit managers in place. Their customers cannot earn commercial revenue from medical insurance. That is why sales are only done to research hospitals.
