21/2/2018 17:50 | It used to be the case that PLUS would fall more than the divi. However this hasn't been the case with the past 3 dividends. I think quite a few have sold to avoid the tax and are looking to buy back in so tomorrow may not have the dip people are looking for. | travellingtrader
21/2/2018 17:08 | re buying tomorrow, it goes ex-dividend tomorrow so the last qualifying day is today. Tomorrow you can expect a minimum 100p fall as it normally falls a lot more than the divi and then bounces. | hatfullofsky
21/2/2018 16:37 | I think that suggests a PE of 8 for current year and yield of 7.5%. | matt
21/2/2018 16:32 | Maybe people don't want the hassle sorting out the withholding tax on the dividend. Still looks very cheap compared to IGG and CMCX with plus delivering much stronger growth. | thevaluehunter
21/2/2018 15:21 | Yes thanks....PLUS look very cheap on those forecasts assuming DL havent mixed up their $ and £ ! | nurdin
21/2/2018 14:59 | Digital Look have updated 2018 and 2019 forecasts. | piwood
21/2/2018 10:20 | Remarkably low volumes today. Being fairly new to this one I am surprised but perhaps shouldn't be? | noujay
21/2/2018 02:52 | Yes @pb. I think atleast some traders/investors do not want to deal with the tax component and hence we see share price depressed pre ex date and rise post ex date | aakash30
20/2/2018 22:23 | yes you qualify if you buy tomorrow. | nurdin
20/2/2018 21:53 | It I buy some shares tomorrow do I qualify for dividends or was today the last day? | dannyt90
20/2/2018 17:51 | This pattern happens every time with PLUS ahead of xdiv. Sell off, then steady and relentless rise after xdiv GLA | pbutterworth1
20/2/2018 16:10 | Assume people taking the rise over the dividend at the moment. Personally I think it'll ping back to these levels very quickly after ex div day anyway | noujay
20/2/2018 15:39 | Yes,goes XD on 22nd Feb.Thanks for the reminder. | nurdin
20/2/2018 15:31 | Opportunity then to take a few more. Is tomorrow closing day on dividend? | noujay
20/2/2018 12:33 | Looks like market not reassured by the Companys statement that ESMI proposal will not have a significant impact on their trading. | nurdin
16/2/2018 17:51 | Extracts from the Telegraph - 14th Feb. Although cryptocurrency trading accounted for less than 15pc of revenues, chief executive Asaf Elimelech said the market's popularity had drawn people to the company even if they went on to use more traditional products. However the EU markets watchdog warned last month that it may limit trading in crytocurrencies as part of a wider crackdown to protect amateur investors who are losing too much money on these bets. Mr Elimelech brushed off the potential veto, saying that while a ban "won't be the most pleasant thing" the group was not dependent on the market and could still let customers gamble on cyrptocurrencies in other jurisdictions such as Australia. | metis20
16/2/2018 16:14 | It's not about whether ESMA effect plus or not though, it's about the confidence investors have. Which is why I wanted an estimate on the date because I think that is the main thing holding back the share price right now. | michaeljames1
16/2/2018 15:19 | The smart investor knows that ESMA for PLUS is a total red herring. PLUS hurt a lot of people a couple of years ago and the p/e reflects a lack of trust and a not too insignificant dislike by a segment of the investor community. This trust, through wonderful results, share buy backs and improved communication is gradually building. Only then will PLUS approach p/e with IG. Divs also have withholding tax issue which limits the comparison. The share price will be over 15 by end April. Long and big GLA. | pbutterworth1
16/2/2018 14:00 | When are ESMA expected to drop the bomb? Because right now I see it as the only thing that is holding back the SP, I had some worries over crypto currencies going out of fashion but as they only make up 15% that's much more reassuring. This share is worth holding just for the dividend alone, even without the 200% gain in share price | michaeljames1
16/2/2018 13:14 | No stoppin' this little beauty | gersemi
16/2/2018 10:10 | I see brokers are now forecasting EPS of 190c and 197c for 2018 and 2019 respectively.PE of round about 8.5 at current price.Growth estimates pulled right back due to ESMA concerns I suspect | nurdin
16/2/2018 08:55 | Next Thursday the stock goes xd over 100p...funds that are taxed have an incentive to sell before the xd date. | stevenlondon3
16/2/2018 08:46 | metis20 Thank you | old fool2
16/2/2018 08:39 | of2 - one likely reason is that short term traders were buying in before the results. They knew - because of the trading updates - that the results going to be good. However they had every intention of selling near the peak of the anticipated spike early on the day the results were released. sp moved up from 10.45 to 11.90 in the week before the results. I expect share price to move up now ahead of the ex-divi day which is this coming Thursday. | metis20
15/2/2018 19:53 | Incredible result and yet we are down why? | old fool2 |
