01/12/2016 10:33 | I assume they had an idea after all it is their job to understand the market going forwards - all regulators tightening as we know and as Leaprate have reported today it might be good for the industry long term. I certainly wouldn't have taken a bonus option as very difficult to earn and other issues. Sadly there are plenty of unregulated providers who will no doubt see this as an opportunity - presumably regulators will attempt to close this loophole - eventually! | sailing john
01/12/2016 10:26 | Makes you wonder how much the directors knew about this. | lydnem
01/12/2016 10:25 | I'm out having sold half last week when Cysec story first reported (small profit on early Nov rebuy of relatively small position) Confirmed today that Cysec limiting leverage and banning bonuses - pretty much with immediate effect No idea of impact on existing or new accounts. Remains on watch GL - SJ | sailing john
28/11/2016 09:00 | ok all time for that recovery we were waiting for :) | tomstone12
20/11/2016 15:07 | Cheers, Fizzy. | mrchriss
20/11/2016 10:42 | Interactive Investor delay was 12 days for the last divi. | fizzypop
18/11/2016 13:50 | Good god! I'm used to getting it on the day but I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks for the responses. | mrchriss
18/11/2016 13:38 | MrC and S John, I received my dividend today. The holding is with HL. | planelondon
18/11/2016 13:04 | MrC - Depending on your broker it can take 1-2 weeks to see divis I think they are paid by cheque in $s and are usually converted to GBP by nominee and then credited. Why the process takes so long I don't know - but I'm not expecting anything until the back end of next week In the past we have compared broker performance both for processing speed and exchange rates! Can't remember who was best/worse SJ | sailing john
17/11/2016 18:33 | I didn't receive my dividend payment today. Any other holders confirm they received theirs? | mrchriss
15/11/2016 11:00 | On the move today VIX fallen back to below 15 after the relatively short lived Trump spike. But there is evidence of global volatility in equities, metals and currencies so I think Plus could have a positive Q4. My short term target was +10% on my re-entry price of 567/568 10 days back ie around 625p but given apparent volatility and unfolding events I have revised my short term target up to the institutional £100m investment price of 650p from 2 months ago But I trade plus and I'm not married to a long or short position so this might change again! Model output - PE circa 9.5 - Yield 6.3% (at share price of 620p and xrate 1.24) GL - SJ | sailing john
09/11/2016 14:14 | iTrader shut down by ISA. PLUS one of only six granted a licence to operate in Israel As ISA closes unlicenced operators presumably customers will move to one of the 6 licenced operators adding a few new customers to PLUS and the other 5. | sailing john
09/11/2016 11:42 | Trump may not be most people's idea of a benefit play, but as regards Plus500, I say he is. The uncertainty that now exists, and will continue for a long while, will increase the trading numbers of PLUS, and given the substantial profits that are made from trading, this business will prosper even more than it already does. The fall in share price because the founders took cash out for other things, provides a great entry or add opportunity, IMHO. Disclosure: as previously stated, long; and staying so. | andrewbaker
09/11/2016 09:00 | I dont you can say its is ok because the divis are paid out....they used to own most of the company! | lydnem
09/11/2016 08:49 | Muted reaction from PLUS so far Currency volatility through the roof but will settle I assume Overnight moves in gold etc. Equities will take longer to react and settle. (weeks or months whilst market second guesses policy) GL - SJ (Edit - Decent tick up whilst I was typing - more to come?) | sailing john
04/11/2016 11:46 | BtB - They are my figures (Q4 anyway) and as they pay most of their profits in divis there is no fraud. But those like you that think so occasionally create opportunities. GL - SJ | sailing john
04/11/2016 09:28 | Bought back a few yesterday at 567/568 - falling knife trade! but with volatility picking up and US election next week I'm hoping for some renewed interest in the sector. From my model PLUS PE now about 9 (half IGG) with a yield of over 6.5%. And of course around £100m was recently invested by the big boys at 650p in the Director placing. Hopefully they have a vague idea of what they are doing!! - although perhaps not! GL SJ | sailing john
02/11/2016 16:24 | Because the questions marks over the company remain, not aided by the directors dumping so many shares. | lydnem
02/11/2016 14:40 | Sentiment after director sells, plus ii's sucking at the teat, gotta wait til they've had their feed and get burped. | alphapig
02/11/2016 09:03 | Why the weakness in share price over the last couple of days, any views? | danboris2
01/11/2016 16:38 | The lower it goes the cheaper it is to buy. | freddie ferret
01/11/2016 10:08 | Own up - who's selling down their holding in 5000 share O lots? | liquidkid |
