You can forget Liberums notes, they are being paid to issue that, you would need to be stupid to take forget that bias

Thanks Stuffee, very helpful - do you also fill in the exemption document, provided by their agent?

Tomps

Provided you receive letter from your personal tax district confirming you've submitted UK Tax Return,(which some times takes ages), your broker/bank confirms receipt of dividend, and you send copy to Plus' agents, it all seems to work.

Does anyone claim back the Israeli withholding tax on the dividends? Whenever I've looked at it the material required was too onerous - so I've never claimed it back.

Just wondering if anyone has found it relatively easy? I've just lacked persistence!

PE of under 10,yield 7.4%,operating in an earnings friendly volatile market...the list of positives is endless.Yet the share price is hesitating.

Read Liberum's note on PLUS500 LTD (PLUS), out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research-tree.com/company/IL0011284465
"As volatility shows signs of increasing we see the spread betting and CFD providers, (Plus500, CMC Group, IG Group) as being the major beneficiaries. We also note that Plus500 has a sector leading dividend yield. On the basis of its stated 60% DPS pay-out ratio, the current yield for CY16 is 7.4% ..."

I'm hoping that we're at the support level again and we'll see a climb back up. The charts look like support around 570 and resistance around 640

We had a 44p divi a little while back, factor that in to your thinking.
IMHO this is heading to £10 by year end, it's never a strait line up though. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks for that stuffee. I was aware of most of what you mentioned, but to see it in front of me certainly clarifies it, and adds some justification to the decline. Nice for someone to help wipe clean my rose-tinted spectacles! I'm still on the bull side given the strong cash generation and low valuation and continue to hold...in my IG CFD account!

PB a few suggestions re recent weakness:
- Profit taking after 50% rise over last 2 months.
- Short term bull positions in anticipation of excellent Q1, now being unwound.
- Expectation that exceptional volatility in Q1 won't be repeated. CMC also been
bit weak. But Brexit vote should liven up volatility.
- Concern that France will ban CFD advertising to retail punters. This follows
statement by IG a few weeks ago, which I posted here, (10508). If so, will other EU countries follow Nanny state?

Afraid although trying to justify now, I wasn't smart enough to take action in advance!

Still happy to stay long bearing in mind Plus' outstanding platform and impressive yield.

Anyone know of any reason behind the drop over the past few days? Is there a particular reason or just mr. market playing his usual games?

Odey is selling shares and buying CFD to hedge the risk of the price rising, so the price is falling right now, but if it rises in the future - which I believe that it will - they will still get the benefit of the rise. However, Odey hasn't been doing so well of late, so the bottom line is, you pay your money and take your choice/chances. For me, Plus500 has to be a good bet with the markets as they are now. The more the volatility, of which there will be plenty what with Brexit, the US election, European problems both economic and migratory, China, Japan and Far East worries etc. etc. ..., the more CFD will be bought; which will benefit Plus500, as the house always wins, lol.

I admit, I don't usually pay much attention to Holding(s) RNS's. How can you tell that Odey is offloading? No. shares pre and post triggering transaction appear to be the same? Also, it states threshold crossed is 23%. So given their total holding is now 23.02% there must have been an addition somewhere? Seems somewhat confusing to me!

Yes Odey off loading for whatever reason by the looks.

+ it would seem that some (Odey included perhaps?) are offloading for whatever reason, though on the fundamentals and reasonable projections I can't see why; which puts a drag on the price. Are there those who think a Brexit would be bad for the business? Personally, I think that that would be good for Plus500: more trading would likely result, giving them more business. And if we stay in, I don't see a downside.

In conclusion, the current price weakness is a good opportunity to buy or add, IMHO.

One thought occurs to me: someone actually wants to buy a goodly amount, and is happy to see selling of smaller amounts that takes the price down, and will pick up what they want as or after that happens. So, this price weakness is then an opportunity to buy more whilst one still can at these prices.

Inspite of the 750,000 single sell trade, buys overall today led sells by a big margin.
I am only guessing but the fact that the share price did not rise on the day suggests that mms may be expecting further large sells?

To be fair, the market has been pretty strong to swallow that trade with not much movement on the share price
