As I said above, worthwhile small growth shares are showing out: nice rise today, and expect more going forward.

It's in volatile market conditions such as now, that worthwhile small growth companies show up. The big SWF selling shares because oil revenues are down, the mutual funds and ETF selling shares to get the cash needed for redemptions by nervous investors, and the pension funds selling because people are taking drawdown cash out, will not have to sell much in the way of small UK growth shares: so, not only will they not be taken down by a ebbing tide, but they will be attractive purchases by those looking for a more stable home in the current environment. It's an ill wind ...

CMC Markets PLC
Announcement of Intention to Float in Feb 2016
65 per cent of the total retail CFD market revenue was generated by five providers: CMC, IG Group, FXCM Inc, GAIN Capital and Plus500.

'CMC Markets also offers its clients the ability to place fixed-odds bets with
Countdowns (a short-term binary product launched in July 2015)
highlights the crossover potential of products into the global online gaming market, an estimated revenue pool of US$40 billion.'

Just had to slip in on that old gambling casino nugget. Come on FCA isn't THIS is what you are trying to fleece out.

I'm not aware of any forecasts in the market

However, I have a robust model and assuming revenue at $70m for Q4 I estimate EPS of circa 50p with a 60% divi of around 30p

Does anyone have revised EPS figures for the results coming in March?

Sadly the conversion rate is dictated by your nominee. They all vary slightly both in exchange rate and time taken to credit accounts.

I have been adding recently. Volatility very high which is good for business.

The current divi is $0.2121 ... do we have to wait till the payment date of 29 Feb for the sterling conversion rate, I cannot remember from last time and could not find anything on PLUS's website?

Interesting how postings on this board have dramatically dried up in last month, in spite of confirmation of encouraging resumption of UK on-boarding. I regard lack of postings as pretty bullish as a crescendo of comment, sucking in mugs such as myself, invariably leads to prices peaking! I should add that I have held Plus virtually since the "Off" and its best price performance was during period prior to much bulletin board interest. I certainly intend to continue to hold. Incidentally I assume stock has been ex the 14p dividend since yesterday even though not specifically indicated "ex div" on some price sheets; this has under stated encouraging price performance over last two days.

sp looking resistant, and indeed drifting upwards, in a difficult market. Noted. Looks on its way back up to me ahead of Div. DYOR.

Plus500 has now finished its spike up, as a result of speculative (and probably quite small) buying, and may now enjoy a more gentle rising trend back to somewhere between 500 and 600p, at least for now. Still a few days, maybe, to buy at the lower price.

Anyone see the irony in that the Oddey position in Plus500 was made up of none other than 17.9 million Contract for Differences (CFD) 15.5%

Estimates built on speculation with noddy use of language, sayings and typos...if this is real it not the most professional output. Basically says what the previous FT article said.

I find the Numis note to be thin, weak and nothing new. Perhaps we will never know why they walked away. I suspect management don't like them and don't tell them anything. Its difficult to put any useful note out when you are clueless about what is really going on.

Numis note is interesting, well worth reading.

Seems like it is just a matter of getting things up an running. They seem to be using the option of operating through Cyprus. Spend per customer is increasing fast.
Once this has quietened down it looks like this will be one hell of a cash cow assuming that nothing worse than Numis ceasing to cover this company occurs.
