I've no doubt that if agreement were reached to return the migrants to the UK, and with this Govt it's pretty likely in some form as to not antagonise the EU, that the numbers will be greatly inflated.

I'm not sure that a herd of black asylum seekers strolling across the NI border with Eire wouldn't have been noticed. Apparently, the Deputy PM who started this had the following logic. The number that are here in Ireland is X, the number our border people counted coming off planes at Dublin airport or the Irish Sea Ferry is Y. Therefore the difference (X-Y) MUST HAVE come from NI!
