I'm not sure that a herd of black asylum seekers strolling across the NI border with Eire wouldn't have been noticed. Apparently, the Deputy PM who started this had the following logic. The number that are here in Ireland is X, the number our border people counted coming off planes at Dublin airport or the Irish Sea Ferry is Y. Therefore the difference (X-Y) MUST HAVE come from NI!

If, big if, the asylum seekers are absconding because of the Rwanda bill then surely that is implicit of its possible effectiveness? I've no doubt the Govt will judge it as such.

It is hard not to conclude that the complete incompetence of present government is actually a refusal of the Civil Service to obey instructions or carry out the function that their department allegedly does.

I loike the system in the porker which shows you 'live' tyre pressures. It is interesting to note from a cold start, pressures will increase by 0.1 or 0.2 bar after some distance.
