It was a little long winded but I imagine AVATAR333 will lap it up. He goes past the three supermarkets…..

You are not The Travel Guyz, are you, Mikey? From someone I don't "know," 12 minutes driving around Todmorden was a bit more than I needed!

#7249 I'm sorry but I could not force my eyes to look upward from waist high. It's a crew I would happily 'row' with..... if y'know what I mean.

Aye, they are a bit of a rum bunch at weekends and holidays. The other thing about the Boat Race weekend is that my habitual bike ride to jim along the Thames is thronged with Uni types, people wearing shorts and wellies and general hoi polloi cluttering up the roads which makes cycling even more dangerous than usual.

I shouldn't be surprised to learn that the excellent jeffian had two additional 'days off' from jim (today and Friday).

A reassuringly normal day. Splendid.

Mrs A may disagree, though. I did warn her against making her regular Monday trip to Sainsbury's. She suggested that around half the Bank Holidayers in England had descended on the store!
