'Smart' meters to be used for surge pricing? Who'd a thunk it, eh? (other than every single member of teh Cabal from the outset). It was so obvious; they certainly aren't of any use for anything else and as for the advertised claims at the outset that they made "savings" for the consumer, that was an outright fraudulent claim that should have been challenged by the authorities.
