14/11/2023 19:30 | I note that the Fire Service have decided that the decision to immediately evacuate a tower block that has continuously housed 400 people since construction in 1958, due to a recently identified structural issue, is a ‘appropriate and proportionate response’ If only there was other emergency accommodation available at short notice to temporarily house a large number of unplanned guests ? | monte1

14/11/2023 18:44 | I don't know what all the fuss is about? A Labour government. What's wrong with that. My Labour candidate promised me he would get me into the ranks of those 'well off'. I thought he meant I would get an increase in income, but he meant everyone else was going to be made poorer. | dominiccummings

14/11/2023 18:23 | Dear Graham, As I write this letter, I am travelling at 30,000 ft from London Heathrow to Brisbane, Australia. By the time you receive it, you will know the rumours are true and I will indeed appear on ITV’s I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Whilst it’s an offer that’s been made to me many times over the years, this year I gave it real consideration. The Brexit referendum was now a long time ago, and a lot of younger voters don't know who I am or what I stand for. This is an opportunity to reach them. It will also be a big test for me personally, away from the news, mobile phones and the internet for the first time in 20 years. The offer is also a very good one, and what’s wrong with that? It looks like Coutts might even want to take me back after all! The thought of doing certain bush tucker trials doesn’t thrill me, but I am used to dealing with snakes and other horrible reptiles both in the European Parliament in Brussels and at Westminster over the years… In order to connect with a new audience and win, I will need your support. When the voting begins, please keep me in the jungle by calling the number, or download the I’m a Celeb app for 5 free votes. Click Here To Download The 'I'm a Celeb' App Thank you, Nigel Farage Reform UK Honorary President I have downloaded the app. If Nigel thinks it's for the best for us to keep voting for him that's good enough for me. | grahamite2
14/11/2023 17:11 | Oh, how remiss of me. Morning all. | grahamite2
14/11/2023 17:09 | The resignation letter. Essentially, you're useless and a liar and have no interest in improving this country. | grahamite2
14/11/2023 17:03 | The centre is a mythical line gra’ - it is not an absolute value. It is the median point of the standard distribution of political viewpoints. There may well be a space on the moderate right for a party that chooses to fill it with policies that appeal to those with such views but it is immaterial imco, it won’t gain enough traction to seriously bother the scorers. The current cycle is over and we will now be faced with enduring a cycle of leftists which will last until such times as they trash the economy, bankrupt us (even further) further erode law and order, eradicate social norms etc and only then will the idealistic scales drop from the eyes of the electorate | monte1
14/11/2023 16:46 | #199 Sunak is positioning the Tories a smidgin to the right of centre for next GE... With respect, monters, that is wholly false. The Conservative governments we have had for 13 years were already left of centre, meaning the centre among the populace as a whole. The PM has moved the government still further left. How many people want to see an end to the avalanche of dangerous aliens? Want to be able to afford to heat their homes and run a car? Want the police and the courts to actually do something about crime? There is a gaping hole waiting for a Party of the moderate right. | grahamite2
14/11/2023 16:35 | #197 Obliged to, but wouldn't It would literally be the political news of the century. They'd have to cover it. What's more, it would run and run. | grahamite2
14/11/2023 16:35 | #233 re #157 Agree; a superb article. Concur with every word. | bluemango
14/11/2023 16:29 | #185 earning a few quid yes, but also getting his message across to those who aren't interested in politics and don't watch the news. I read recently that Nigel has a high profile on tik tok, with the young viewers saying, you know, this bloke's got a lot of the answers. Nigel is a truly remarkable man. | grahamite2
14/11/2023 16:20 | #157 I almost didn't bother with this as there were so many hoops to go through, but I'm glad I did. An incisive polemic. | grahamite2
