#151 Bloody great stuff Mr Portillo, its a weeks break for the 2 of us just to relax & get out and about the island, sounds right up our street & noted to avoid the lido/port which presumably caters for those bloody cruise ship coves. We always go self catering or B&B, theres a good accom choice there. Will ofcourse update when booked.

Re Madeira, I went there once, never again.
It is full of Rab Nesbitt lookalikes, pierced. tattooed and either bare-chested or in a ` singlet`.The food was always served in a Brown Windsor soup sauce.

The Japp of course was in his element.
