Good presentation on their web site from today, still looking to plough on with M&A by the looks of it and interesting to see the full range of their offering which is pretty impressive.

When is the investors day

investors day and reduction in reliance on unregulated markets should see this slowly tick up from now until full year results.
Expecting an acquisition to add good long term value and further dilute effect and therefore reduce impact at results.
long game here but looking at a big % return at results as expect a 9.50 price.
Off to other shares now, leaving to run be back in feb.

Morgan Stanley often linked to corporate action. Interesting - it is really heating up now.The UK review is crucial even though PTEC are global.Ladbrokes doing well online which is great but a GVC takeout would not be good for ptec except that they own a decent percentage.Getting complicated

I didn't do it on quite your scale, Festy! The only shares I might risk that kind of moolah on are GVC and PFC.

If that's what you did Woody, well done.I steamed in once only, when it crashed last week... as soon as the tick up began, I stuck £100k of my GVC holding in here, for 20 minutes only. I made 2% and thought I was clever.I was not clever, I could have made about £15k or more. But no.

How many chances do you want DiscoDave? You need to get on the ball! I've already bought at 757p, sold 'em at 820p, bought them back at 790p and sold them again at 837p!!

Yep, Morgan Stanley have held as much as 6.27% in 2009, and more recently (July 2017) they had 5.73%.......so nice to see them increasing but nothing to get too excited about IMO.Would like some myself.........less than £8 would be nice!.DD

Not strictly true. Morgan Stanley have been buying & selling right across the summer taking their holding below 3% & over 5% at various points. They have been adding again though hence the latest notification.

Thanks Elsa. It seems to me that the drop is overdone here and just nervousness preventing a bounce. Generates plenty of cash so I'd expect some action from a larger player or two in terms of picking up some value at this sort of level

Can't remember the exact figures but convertibles are 300 million euros I think and the earn outs are from 150 - 500 million depending on performance.
Best guess was to assume the cash pays for the convertibles and earn outs.

Maybe the market anticipates more bad news. Profit warnings are often followed by others...
Malaysia is understandable, but how complicated can Sun Bingo be?? Surprised it seems so intractable
