Jann's answer to working from home question seemed to me like they doing bare Minimum. I'd be shocked if she's working more then 1-3 hours per day on Pharos. Also if Institutional investors and high net worth shareholders are "very happy" with the job ladies are doing why on earth are they not buying more at such low prices? I suspect they are actually not very impressed at all but just don't care enough to force a change?

It means you're guilty of what you accuse others of!

And I quote.

Question about working form home was "tongue in cheeck" - as an ex investment professional who worked on a trading floor... I can't fathom how working from home can be as value added / beneficial.... It is a gift for those in the position of CEO and CFO - akin to having cake and eating it...

Ha - just watching the Q&A and your question now. I'm with Jann on this 100%. Remote working is brilliant.

We find ourselves in this situation because the management went and blew all our capital on a pals oil company.
Sorry but management have failed us miserably, irrespective of what future prospects might be.

Well if you liked it at 20-22p, you're going to absolutely love it at 17.7p that just got printed ...Seems to have been hit harder than some of my other oilies. Dare I say it looks pretty good value but as we know it can always get much cheaper ...

7768 yes of course I hear there is a theory on that about "sharing around" the usd reserves. Nothing to do with respect within the government and which expatriate companies they want to keep sweet of course.

Question: why the share price falls in the last few days?

Answer: not quality of management, or lack thereof, IMHO. Agreed management's skill set seems limited. But what I do like about them is they seem to know their limits. In the circumstances better to be prudent, focus on cost management, low hanging fruit and return capital to shareholders, rather than embark on potentially risky new ventures which they may be ill-equipped to execute.

Alternative explanation for share price: something to do with the situation in Egypt, scarcity of USD and deepening economic and financial crisis?

Yep it’s sad to see ! Just smashed a new 52 week Low!

PHARcical always gives us more opportunities to buy cheaper & cheaper. Call me old fashioned but I like companies that make me average up (rather than down)!

Just think, if the shares fall to 1p we can buy 300 million shares with 3 million (instead of only 15 million shares)! With that type of logic some people shouldn’t be allowed unsupervised access to their own money IMHO lol!

If you have spare funds willing to deploy then falls like this are useful.

Also, if the company is buying back shares the same applies but on a much less material basis.

Well Jann's presentation(s - last two anyway!) seems to have been welcomed by the market.
There is some theory written on another board "going around", that reductions in share price are a good thing because you can buy more or something like that anyway, can someone post it up here please?

I'd say these boards serve many purposes.

The two I've found most valuable:

Transfer and sharing of information
Building a community of people you can follow and get ideas from

"Also I personally don't bother commenting on certain stocks I hold unless I've got "concerns"

So you don't post positive news for the benefit of other holders who might have missed such!

Aren't boards meant to be for ensuring other fellow investors see pertinent news?

ie It's a two way street of give and take.

"Also I personally don't bother commenting on certain stocks I hold unless I've got "concerns""---------Absolutely Dunder! 100% agree! I've held a certain North Sea oily since January 2016 and I think I've made less than a dozen posts on that BB and I've emailed the company twice since becoming a shareholder 7 years ago. They've given me my initial money back in dividends and have gone up more than 30 FOLDS! On the other hand, with PHARcical I've had to keep a much closer eye and have been in regular contact with the company multiple times per year.

Also I personally don't bother commenting on certain stocks I hold unless I've got "concerns" Why bother posting stuff like "really happy with everything here".
What value would I be adding?
Although I know certain people will think I don't add value here either of course and I hasten to add, not a holder here, seemingly constantly awaiting as to when I would be happy to purchase.
All IMHO and DYOR.

Ashkav Dunder has partially answered it for me below so I'll leave the "why" part at his response. Also I'm not a trader after a quick buck or a 20% gain. I initially invested when the company's share price was 30% covered by hard cold cash and it was paying a healthy dividend (it was a "safe" income play at the time). I currently hold over 20 shares. PHAR on a CAGR basis has been my 2nd worst investment in nearly 2 decades. I currently have a 6 figure holding (based on what I paid for the shares). Thank you for your interest in my personal portfolio. I would rather not mention any names of companies that I currently hold as certain posters such as PM frown upon mentioning other shares here. If you are interested, send me a message on ADFVN and we can chat ;)! I'll leave at that!

7857 - looking at OilInvestorAL recent posts it would appear PHAR is the only share he is active in posting about.

OilInvestorAL any other AIM/LSE E&P gems to recommend? Or are you wholly occupied poring over every PHAR nook and cranny hoping you might find some magic potion to recover PHAR's share price? :)
