I believe those numbers from perupetro are for fiscalised production, not actual production which was higher for January anyway according to the CEO.

The RNS from 22nd Jan stated every $3 increase in Brent equates to $10m of free cash flow 🥳

Do like this little snippet from the Feb presentation, they base calculations on $77 brent.

~80% of every dollar increase in Brent falling to netback.

Production tailed off a bit at present, think even more barges may be required even with the new export routes. Two zero days in the last five, not great but no big shakes production for the first two months 18301 average slightly below target of 18500.
You have to remember though that there are some good barges which carry over 30000 and sail a good way. If just one of these fills up one day it makes all the difference to production targets.
With brent looking good the quarterly divi is looking sound into the future.

I agree, I just wouldn't want anyone disappointed when the dividend arrives...

Stemis 9.265% then, still better than savings account and chance of appreciation at this price.

basic yield of 6c / 10.9%

Remember, there's 15% wht off that...

Oil prices are looking very supportive atm with Brent topping $83 vs budget of $77, so if PTAL can open up the planned new routes to avoid the shipping difficulties during the dry season they should have a bumper year. Great yield at this price, even at the basic yield of 6c / 10.9%
As per RA above Q1 averaging 19500bopd vs budget of 18500bopd.
All told should be a good start to this year.

Totally agree.
Lingering worry about local disputes and interruption I think.

I am really surprised that the share price hasn’t moved up since the divi announcement. Not sure if there is a bit of overhang from the 2024 capex budget, concern about the Amazon water levels or PTAL is flying under the radar but would have thought the yield would have drawn more interest?

I like the way that PTAL are very clear in the way they present their performance and the targets they set for 2024.

Nice uplift of 0.5c to the basic divi of 1.5c for Q4.

Hopefully see the same again for the current quarter.

Surprised that this morning’s RNS hasn’t had a positive effect on the share price Maybe there is still some overhang from the 2024 guidance earlier in the month.
Given the average b/d for January and the POO holding up hopefully we will see some up side in cash flow if these levels are maintained for the rest of the quarter.

This fall from 50p is a surprise I must say. Added a few more to the pot down here, can’t help looking at that divi.
