Invest overseas states it's for investment only... Read their holding rns. No matter what any bid will be low balled and if I was bidding would you do it at record low oil prices, no brainer. But then we are talking about natlata who speak only when they moan and caused the delay of the farmout imo. Hope they don't as there are some investor sitting on huge losses and one investor dbarron is making money!Dyor, imo

Trouble is many holders, prob sitting on huge losses imo, barring one dbarron who is making no loss, lol, as I said this was occurring imo, that this is fact a worry. Cheap accumulation will lead to a low bid, especially if natlata get annoyed by current management not increasing production.23% holding and doesn't take a genius they must be sitting on huge losses.May even explain why bod recently bought too.Imo, dyor.

The Natlata accumulation goes on at its slow steady pace. The ease with which they can purchase is fairly telling in that existing holders are getting fed up and moving on.Steel and Db may also be buying at these levels.VGLTA

Doubt that's the concern here - more worried they take the whole co for 3p!

Sean,The work over of the recent well rate drop is going to be a vital result. It must be fixed, if not imo is a real concern in addition to the continued low oil prices.I can only assume the recent director buys is very positive, surely they didn't buy expecting a positive outcome to the work overs and slight improvement in oil price on average over this year.Imo, dyor.

RavWe all know PTR's history of debt via McQ and the Vital loan. Surely the only way to go is to try for a farm out deal but in the present market offers are low and very hard to get.If PTR can carry on for another year just steadily producing and not 'spending' the E&P sector financing outlook could hopefully improve. The issue is of more imminent concern to Natlata and Co than to most invested here.VGLTA

Lol makes no sense, so you say more funding may be needed. But funding is either more assets farmed out, share dilution or bank debt!

RavMore investment will be needed to grow output it should not be needed to chug along as they have been doing for the last few years. The main point is no debt to be repaid to banks which have crippled plenty of E&PS.VGLTA

Sean disagree, more investment will be needed. The Oil India payment as part of the 50% farmout is mostly used as I gather from other posters, rns, account, imo.Last year you were stating the exact opposite to what you are stating now.

Db is a long serving fan of our old BOD and investor who claims to have been an investor in PTR who actually is up on his trades. He has always shown I sight and posted regularly. PTR is one of the few E&Ps around that may emerge out of the current turmoil intact. This is in the most part due to having OI 's investment and let's hope they keep an interest in this small E&P for all the other shareholders.GLTA and let's hope Wee Tom leaves Big Brain to finally try and swim by himself

Ouch who'd have bought this at the end of last year. Db must be a billionaire by now, all the way from 70p to 2p!Work over results should be due soon no?!

Looks like DF did not call the bottom for the PTR share price. with his last purchase. This could be under 2p soon if any reasonable sized seller appears.Hopeless market in E&Ps for now and if the expected Sib increase in reserves is announced now the share price could even slip further on what should be good news.Funny old world.VGLTA

There could be more director buys to be announced, we shall just have to wait and see..

Indeed Steelwatch, indeed.

On another issue, trading these last few days is reminiscent of the days Natlata and/or others were buying up shares. Maybe not to the same extent but there's still been some chunky buys. I presume the recent director buys have already been accounted for.
