No not emailed. The delay only tells me something has gone wrong with the last well or taken longer to drill than expected. Imo.Expecting three well results and reserve update which is all overdue. Imo, dyor, ignore the other thread. (The bb without steel and Dbaron is a joy!)

Interesting, & scary, article.Thx for posting. All/Most Economies are going to be affected it would seem. Mkts adjusting it seems. Grim mkts & just grim alround atm. After most fires normally comes the shoots of new life though...I know the Mkts I work in, most Companies, are budget/money restricted at this time of year. The New year/new budgets normally kicks things off abit.

I think it would take a bit more than a random email to get through to this Co. Same old story here. There's always next week I guess....???

I honestly think this delay in reporting any news is absolutely shocking. We were told the BOD accepted the criticism of their previous poor communication and promised to improve it. Initially they were good to their word and provided RNS's every 6-8 weeks and now nothing for two full calendar months and a bit more. In my fairly long experience with PTR every time there has been long gaps without news it has generally culminated in something negative eventually being reported.

Well Rav I would like to give the BOD a notice that their services are no longer required with immediate effect.Nothing else means SFA to people like them.VGLTA

Kev - it isn't mandatory to report drilling results in real time, otherwise the Nomad would insist on them. Whether or not this makes the slightest difference in current adverse market conditions is a matter of opinion.

Myself on November 19th:

"Maybe the bod are stalling regarding the release of an RNS because let's face it - with the current antipathy towards oilies a stonker of an RNS might only tickle the share price Would an RNS be compulsory to report the result of a drilling?

Perhaps there are tri-lateral discussions going on in the background between Ptr, Natlata and Oil India. Who knows? What I do know is that the share price has dropped in extraordinary fashion apropos the sells/buys I can see. It has been an ongoing concern of mine that the share price can drop and drop and drop whilst an II's shareholding goes up and up and up. I always thought demand increased value. Anyway, just rambling here! Good luck to all. Might be an RNS in the morning."

Obviously there was no RNS the next day! I think my first paragraph above is probably most pertinent at this point. I can understand the business logic of not simply lashing an RNS out for the sake of it. There really is nothing to gain by doing that at this stage. It's now been 2 months and 2 weeks since an RNS and I'd be happy not to see one until early January. Normally, I can talk with my source and get a very accurate date for an RNS - I haven't even bothered him this time.

I don't think the results will be great (they'll be just OK imo) regardless of when an RNS comes out but even if they were magnificent I'd hold off until the new year.

It's really strange but I'm invested in several oilies and the one that's performing the least badly is Petroneft (although I'm now losing on PTR too now). Unfortunately I missed out on Cairns which is only down 25% since the PoO sank. LOL.

IF my guess is right and the next general update is to include y/e reserves restatement, then possibly after Christmas.

Steel, Db and Co seem to be following the old BOD and going into lock down on the other BB.
The lack of any activity from Natlata is even more of a mystery as one would think that they must be fairly dissatisfied with the current share price situation and no updates.

It is hard to see where the company goes from here with its credibility in tatters and most of its major shareholders p*ssed off with the current BOD.
