22/12/2017 18:11 | bouleversee... "closing early in lieu of Christmas Day"... it being Monday and a Bank Holiday in the UK... and you're right, nobody is going to work that day... at least not in the stockmarkets... and it works for me... Merry Christmas! ;) | cybernest53
22/12/2017 17:36 | Cybernest - I've just had a bit of a chuckle over your "closing early in lieu of Christmas". Isn't going to work, is it? | bouleversee
22/12/2017 16:48 | LOL It never fails to amaze me, how important events that affect our investing (and investments) seem to go completely over some posters' heads here... in this case the LSE early closing in lieu of Christmas Day! :) Many thanks to all the many posters who have offered us some great insights about PFC here through the year and many others who have given us a good laugh, intentionally or otherwise! Let's hope we see a fruitful continuing uplift in PFC's share price after the break and into the New Year. An early announcement from the SFO saying they're dropping the case is my wish... and speaking of wishes... I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and all the best for 2018!! :) | cybernest53

20/12/2017 12:57 | Schlumberger won't want the SFO to drop the case otherwise they would have to bid over £9 to get PFC rather than the 650p rumoured . | rbonnier

19/12/2017 23:28 | LOL,Chelsea81, I like the bit about beans and toast trader. Only traded a bit out of my trading account shares.Only because the RSI was high.I hold the rest of my 15K core holding shares. T/O news can come anytime and SFO dropping the case. Also the nice Dividend to think about to. I don't trade my core holding. Oh' I had forgotten to mention the North Sea sale !! GLA. | callmebwana
19/12/2017 20:47 | This share will be circa 800p in 2-3 years, be patient and hold for medium-longterm. There will be daily fluctuations along the way in response to good/bad news, but this is a good company in which capital growth and dividend is fairly certain. Invest and hold. No reason whatsoever to be 'beans and toast' trader on this share. | chelsea81
19/12/2017 10:41 | Check out GENL guys, it could blow fast, bonds being repurchased this week and great news all round, it could be the big recovery play together with PFC, but x3. Holding PFC until at least 650 myself, we should get there in 2018. | topazfrenzy
19/12/2017 08:57 | LOL,NY Boy. I have sold a couple of K shares as the share was in the overbought, RSI over 70 on the Chart. Will wait and see where it settles later. I don't expect to make a lot/ maybe £100/200. As they say every little helps. £ 4.60 a very good support now. GLA. | callmebwana
19/12/2017 08:41 | Wake up festive mince pie munchers, as long as 460p acts as support, we are going higher. | ny boy

19/12/2017 07:52 | RNS 19/12/17 PETROFAC MOVES SANTUARIO TO PRODUCTION SHARING CONTRACT Petrofac has completed the migration of the Santuario production enhancement contract into an interest in a production sharing contract, it announced on Tuesday. The FTSE 250 company said that, effective from 18 December, Petrofac would own a 36% equity interest in the production sharing contract, with PEMEX Exploration & Production Mexico having a 64% interest. It said the production sharing contract would run for 25 years, with two optional five-year extensions. Petrofac would be operator of the block and would carry PEMEX's share of cash calls for the first year. "We are pleased to have successfully concluded the migration of the first of our production enhancement contracts," said Petrofac's chief operating officer of integrated energy services, Rob Jewkes. "We are committed to unlocking value in the block through a new field development plan in conjunction with our partner PEMEX." | chelsea81 |
