Now I wonder if the Shorts are trying to get out ?? Tomorrow should be an interesting day.
£5.12 is what they will have to break to make this fall further. I won't be selling.
Nice Dividend coming soon.

EdmondJ, tears I would think.
I don't think PhD's count much in this market.Common sense is in short supply,LOL.
I think they put the Short on thinking PFC share price would drop after the big rise we have had here in the s/p.
Same as some posters on here sold out. LOL, we wait and see.Time will tell.

I have been caught out doing TA with this share. I to thought it would fall when the RSI was over 70.
On one Month's Chart the RSI is at 73.35, and on 3 Month's Chart it is at 80.33.Yet the share price is climbing !
( RSI over 70 is overbought and under 30 is oversold using TA ) . TA don't seem to work on this share.

I think the Dividend will be around the 20P mark.A Penny or two either way.
Not to long to wait for it either.
I am waiting for a big contract win RNS in February.

Well, the Shorts are not giving up. There is a new boy on the playing field now,
Sysematical Investments Limited has put a Short of 0.5% on the 2nd of Jan.
Total Short positions on PFC now at 7.79%.
LOL. They come out like termites out of the wood work.

Bounced of twice of the support at £5.12 Today....Nice.,

Having been topping up here for the last week or 2. Pretty much invested now. Lots going for this punt:

has the SFO fine still hanging over it, but:

1) Technical share price movements very positive now
2) Full yr results in a month or so
3) Full yr divi to look forward to (likely to be 20p - 30p IMO)
4) Has some good rumours of a takeover approach
5) Oil price recovery bodes very well for a infrastructure increase spend

Guys, there are some very good posts on the LSE...PFC ...BB regarding a Refinery to be built in Ecuador. Well worth the read. Total Contract worth 5/8 Billion $'s.
On the 30th of Jan PFC will be there from the UK.
Can you imagine what that news will do to the share price here if PFC won part of that tender ??? All worth waiting for.IMHO. DYOR.

Shorts down again.From 7.61 now at 7.53%. AQR reduced again on the 29th of December.
That is good news for PI's.
Bit of a battle taking place at the £5.12 resistance level.I am sure PFC share price will overcome that.
Possible RNS due soon. Big chit chat on LSE BB. DYOR.

last time pfc, fell to these levels, once it had bounced off the lows (as now, around Jan 09). It took 2 years straight trend to rise up to 1600p (Jan 11). Now that would be a nice ride to be on.

Will history repeat itself? I hope so

First of all a happy 2018 to you.
Yes the SFO Director was retiring and they needed a replacement for him.
£170K salary per year is not bad at all. With a ring fenced pension.
I don't think it is going to change anything re PFC.
I bet our Mr. Sparrow has been busy though. Who knows,PFC may make a deal with the SFO. I am very happy with my holding here.
Over the holiday I have been playing with T.A. (Tea leaves to some!!).
Well I do OK with it. My tea leaves tell me a price of £7.30 for PFC in 2018.

I take no notice of Tipsters like Share Hub, I pick my own shares.
I have done well for 2017 and am looking to do better in 2018.

Good, although their picks for last year were dire so I wouldn't place too much reliance on it. Nevertheless, I feel reasonably optimistic re PFC.

I saw a large ad. in Sunday Times yesterday for a new director of the SFO (at a salary of up to £170k which doesn't seem very much). I wonder if that will change anything.

The resistance at £5.12. If the share price breaks it and stays above it for a few days,we can then see a movement higher. The £5.12 will then become support.
Brent forecast to break 70.
