18/12/2017 10:02 | A close above 460p (now support) will be a confidence builder. | ny boy
18/12/2017 09:33 | Shorts reduced to 7.94 from 8.4. I think the Shorts want to get out ! The share price was gaped up a little bit by the MM's this morning. Do they know something us mortals don't? All to look forward to.AIMHO. GLA. | callmebwana
18/12/2017 09:15 | Automatic technical analysis. Medium term, Dec 15, 2017 PETROFAC has broken the ceiling of the falling trend, which indicates a slower initial falling rate. Has given positive signal from a rectangle formation by a break up through the resistance at 440. Further rise to 501 or more is signaled. The stock is testing the resistance at pence 460. This should give a negative reaction, but an upward breakthough of pence 460 means a positive signal. Positive volume balance, i.e. high volume in days of rising prices and low volume in days of falling prices, strengthens the stock in the short term. The stock is overall assessed as technically neutral for the medium long term. | ny boy
18/12/2017 09:13 | What will come first a bid, could be at a cheeky 600/650p level or SFO dropping the case, 750/850p ? | ny boy
18/12/2017 08:57 | LOL,are we about to break that dreaded £4.60 resistance ??? Watch this shoot up to £4.82. The next resistance point. I think one more article re T/O in the papers would do that. GLA. | callmebwana
18/12/2017 03:29 | Ha... "Sounds good" doesn't even start to describe it! :) Warranty... wouldn't we all love that outcome! As a long term holder, since long before the SFO dropped in... and having topped up (like many others here, I'm sure) on many dips along the way since May, I would be bloody ecstatic! lol :) | cybernest53
17/12/2017 23:23 | warranty,Sounds good. | garycook
17/12/2017 22:40 | As a long term holder I don't personally want a bid, I'd rather the SFO drop the case so the share price can recover back to the £8-£9 and higher that it was before the Unaoil story. | warranty
17/12/2017 16:25 | Going up this week guys as you wouldn't want to be out of this or short over Christmas in case the bid story starts getting going again .Open up your Boxing Day paper to news of a 650p all cash offer and some on here will be chocking on their Boxing Day cornflakes merry Christmas! | rbonnier
17/12/2017 10:51 | They are just investors. Good to have them on board but it doesn't mean anything other than the shares are attractive | dealy
15/12/2017 15:10 | Yes I agree.Not doing that again and hoping for a good entry point. | vk74
15/12/2017 14:53 | Better at 415,but maybe we will not see again.VK74 you should have only sold half your holding.Like many posters on here. | garycook
15/12/2017 13:48 | Just spoke to the oracle and told me the share price will be 432 by Thursday. | vk74
15/12/2017 13:31 | I know a bit about TA. The share price was gaped down from £6.If you read about gaps on TA trading,it states gaps do get filled. The Telegraph article talked about a bid at around £6. Well if that was to take place the gap would get filled. There are a few resistance points to yet overcome. First one is at £4.60 the second one is at £4.82. If a T/O bid comes along all these resistance points would be useless. The trading Algo's are programmed with all this info. The Shorts Algo's don't want the share price above £4.60. We nearly broke that today. You just have to sit back and show some patience.SFO drops the charge then you are looking at £8/9. What is there not to like about PFC. AIMHO. NAI. GLA. | callmebwana
15/12/2017 11:35 | My core holding is now inviolate. I will be adding on any dips below 450p. The oil price is stable/increasing, business in the sector is picking up, and there is likely to be an influx of cash from the sale of North Sea operations. If, despite all this, the ludicrously low valuation does not improve then there will, imo, soon be a bid at 30-40% more than the current valuation. In view of what's on offer,. perhaps there may be a bidding war which could serve to further enhance the takeout price. Not worth the risk being out now, imo. Another contract RNS will have it rocketing and if it's a Bid - then it's game over, gotta be 550p+ | woodhawk
15/12/2017 11:09 | VK74. Your points. 1) I am not here for 25.-30P. I am here for £1.50/2.50 or maybe more. 2)The share price was not already priced for the good news. 3) A particular day has nothing to do with the share price 4) Xmas is coming ! Have you not heard of the Santa Rally ? Very weak reasons I think. Even some of the Fund Managers got it wrong. They thought PFC would get no business because of the SFO investigation.Well they have also been proven wrong.Business is booming.I posted yesterday that II's will probably start buying.Well the share price is going up ! Who are the buyers? Watch the Shorts running for the hills. Not long to wait either. Always hold on to a core holding. Topazfrenzy is right is his post. AIMHO. Then again, everyone to their own. GLA. | callmebwana
15/12/2017 10:39 | The only way is up here VK74, this will be 550p IMO before we know it. But then I fully own my shares so can afford to take the ups and downs, and collect the dividend in the process. | topazfrenzy
15/12/2017 08:35 | Thanks 5I really wish for everyone to make money here.My position right now is to reenter when the price is a bit better. These are my reasons for selling 2 days ago.1. It was 25-30 pence up already2. The share price was already priced for the good news. Only with unexpectedly great news the share price would go further up.3. It's Friday today and most Fridays the share price goes down.4. Xmas is coming and people don't want to lock money over bank holidays. | vk74
15/12/2017 07:55 | VK74 Re:Dyslexia No problem as long as you make money. My brother is dyslexic and he is very good at maths and at making money so it must be a good thing. May the profits roll in. Cinquepercento. | cinquepercento

14/12/2017 23:48 | Woodhowk,Husbod and Bouleversee, great posts by you all three of you. Yes one low for the top class another for the working class. Give me a break from the clean sanctimonious politics and the politicians. let's just give our top Co's to the Yanks or whoever wants to get the bargains. I know so,for I was a holder of PAYS and that was stolen by the Yanks because the Directors cashed in big time.. FCA no teeth. SFO just to get their wages and their ring fenced pensions. Don't the SFO boasts that all their expenses are now met by the fines !! Dealing in the Middle East without a bung?? The Arabs would grin in you face. Anyway good luck with all your investments.AIMHO of course. | callmebwana
14/12/2017 19:56 | Anyone else fed up with the sanctimonious and other worldly view of the SFO? Although I gained nicely on AMEC and hope to do so here I just can't help thinking that the French and German corporations let alone the Yanks and obviously the Chinese and Russians have no scruples about backhanders etc as corrupt dealing is the only way of getting contracts in half the world and I bet their government agencies don't hound them. Still, we have to be whiter than white. | husbod |
