What it means is the share price is going up, investors have twigged that there is a strong probability of multiple bid interest at a much higher level than the share price is now.

The trade at 4.31p that occurred at 10.23 has just shown up on the London Stock Exchange site - Last five trades.So fault must be in the original data coming from them.

Yes I saw it. It was a "test" of the share price value when the bid is announced but in the wrong way.
Could we then see +426p at the announcement of either the SFO has no case against the company but only against lone individuals who acted outside rules or the bid itself ?
In fact +426p will push roughly the share price back to the actual value when it was punished.

Lots of shares today on google finance and advfn are occasionally showing a trade at one hundredth of the real price.Probably a technical glitch of some sort.

Thought for a second trading had been frozen and offers etc were out in the open.

This is the real situation as we witness it: How many times in your life you know IN ADVANCE a company has 50% IMMINENT chances of a takeover while the share price is beaten down, meaning you can still enter at a bargain price ? The other 50% is that the SFO does not have a case ! So in either scenarios, the share price should at least regain its original MINIMUM value of £6.5 - £7.5. To me no need for a picture or a drawing for this unique opportunity.

Feeling very positive about this week.Especially about the pressure on shorters to now start collecting their profits as they risk a) news on a bid at any time b) news on SFO at any time.For the former they can try to get info from contacts at Halliburton and Schlumberger, but presumably the SFO keep their cards closer to their chest and with the first charges made against Unaoil individuals, further charges or clearances could happen imminently.

IMO any share price below £5 is a bargain.
This is perhaps one chance in a million to get such a situation
when PI's could make a lot of money otherwise nothing to lose is the worst case scenario.
But with this cloud of "takeover" hanging for a while will always keeps the PI in a winning position. It it happens, there will be plenty to gain, if not, nothing to lose but still a higher share price and a dividend.

The only news is that Saudi arabia has called an emergency meeting of the arab league today in Cairo to discuss and "deal" with Iran "interference". The new ruller really wants to start his rule with a war. Now if this happens, what will be the oil price ?...

They have to write something for a living every week. What can trigger a global war in Korea? What can trigger a global war between saudi and iran? What will be then the oil price? $200 ?, $300 ? Who knows? While the global economy is growing steadily as never before, the US, Europe, Japan, China and India, it is allowed to write a dream of global recession to earn a living. Everything is allied now since "fake news" belongs to everyday jargon. Since 2010 how many times the doomers and gloomers predicted the end of cash every ofew the world... I can also feel how some with open short positions can predict PFC share price direction tomorrow, when stop losses barriers are broken...
