17/11/2017 12:36 | Just been sleeping for an hour, and just read all the Posts.Woodhawk is spot on,with my thinking also. The Shorters are keeping the share price down today.Opened at 420,and rose to 433.Only to retest 412.PFC has limited downside from todays 412 now.To show my confidence in PFC I sold 10,000 RUSP shares yielding 8.2% to buy further shares in PFC.Now holding 27,250 Shares averaging 402p.I am 99.99% sure that there is a minimum 50% upside, and a possible take over situation, while waiting I am getting a 7% yield while holding. This is a once in a life opportunity to make easy money even buying now at 425p.Srp I hope you have purchased some PFC. | garycook
17/11/2017 12:24 | I don't know how relevant it is to PFC but The Times Business today has an article headed "Norway shakes oil world by dumping investments" and says Norway's sovereign wealth fund intends to sell off its entire $37bn holding in oil and gas companies in a move aimed at making it less vulnerable to a permanent drop in the price of crude. I don't know whether the $37bn valuation was before or after the obvious reaction to the news! I gather the sell-off will be subject to a vote in Parliament and won't start until the spring. They may get hoist by their own petard but it does give one pause for thought about investing in oil generally. Am rather wishing I hadn't, uncharacteristically Any views? | bouleversee
17/11/2017 12:05 | GC & W This talk has certainly helped my lam, thank you. | srpactive
17/11/2017 11:55 | Correct rHatton. Historic yield 12.5%, forecast yield 5.2%. Incidently, HL's site won't currently display the PFC pages at all. | jacks13
17/11/2017 11:50 | More like sad songs | ny boy
17/11/2017 11:45 | NY..surely you must know that’s the figure from last years divi relevant to this years share price? The divi has been rebased and the share has fallen. Expect something of the order of 20p final divi. Giving full year total approx 30p. | rhatton
17/11/2017 11:44 | W No problem, keep writing those songs. | srpactive
17/11/2017 11:44 | Oil prices back up 1.5%, could be heading back to test recent highs, if so, will help support the share price But let’s have some contract news or a comment on takeover rumours! Bit boring this stock lately but much of the time investing is | ny boy
17/11/2017 11:44 | That's about as accurate as the rest of your posts NY Boy!! The divi is nothing like 12% - it's more like 7% - its asymetrical, so the next divi is the bigger one at circa 20p as opposed to circa 10p last time | woodhawk
17/11/2017 11:39 | Lol Probably Sting is disguise 😉 | ny boy
17/11/2017 11:34 | Nothing to do with investing, Active, I just do this for fun and profit. I'm a creative, loosely in the music business, but that's all you're getting from me! | woodhawk
17/11/2017 11:32 | According to hl web site the divi is 12% approx | ny boy
17/11/2017 11:27 | W Okay, I was not suggesting you invest just mentioning that's all. By the way would you mind telling me your occupation? regards active | srpactive
17/11/2017 11:11 | The only thing that will stop it happening sooner or later is a substantial rise in the shareprice. So patient longs win either way. That's my view. And if it drags on you can collect a circa 7% divi while you wait. | woodhawk
17/11/2017 11:09 | cant say i would particularly object to that either Woodhawk !!! | stoxx67
17/11/2017 11:05 | Discussions over the weekend and an RNS on Monday morning, reluctantly accepting a 700p bid from one of the three parties interested? That'd be nice!! | woodhawk
17/11/2017 11:02 | It’s time the Company delivered on new order intakes, it’s been very quiet for months since the last major contract award, a few of these would at least wet the appetite from potential bidders. | ny boy
17/11/2017 10:55 | I only hope those who are keeping a lid on the share price for a while now will get burnt when time comes. I believe it will soon and without warning, when nobody expects it and has no time to exit without leaving an arm and a leg.For the longs sitting tight, this is an easy game but it's suicidal for shorts not closed yet and left to simmer during the weekend. | fuji99
17/11/2017 10:50 | It is just a matter of time before PFC confirms a bid approach as this sentence from the paper says it all: " 'City sources have CONFIRMED that the TWO US firms and AN undisclosed Middle Eastern bidder have parachuted in advisors to look at an opportunistic bid for the company' | fuji99
17/11/2017 10:49 | 12% divi is still attractive, certainly the last payout was nice to receive. Hopefully it will still be there next May too albeit I expect a lower % | ny boy
17/11/2017 10:43 | Thanks, Active, but not interested at the moment. Took profits in HGM so looking to reinvest here. | woodhawk
17/11/2017 10:28 | W There is a larger percentage move higher at my lam, dyor. | srpactive
17/11/2017 09:57 | More retail investors getting excited. Even though they cut it, at least a decent diviwhilst waiting for glory, personally I reckon (IMM) has more chance of hitting it big by next spring than here GLA Nice day out, weekend coming, off out to do some shopping, in actual physical stores! | ny boy
17/11/2017 09:53 | The shorts must be laughing their socks off... at the moment. | woodhawk |
