I am in exactly the same situation. It would be helpful if they included the name of the poster in the email message so we could select the ones we thought, from previous experience, might be worth reading (and I am not assuming mine would be selected!) but I suspect that would be too much to ask. Some of us have better things to do than read and write trivia all day long. At the very least, messages should be moderated and obscene and offensive ones excluded.

i am well versed in both ADVFN and my market and alert requirements, many thanks all the same.

i understand what you are saying and am grateful that you took the time to help, but that is not the point, i WOULD like to know when their is a valid post on the board, but have no wish to read drivel posted by glenkaz.

I`ve occasionally done that by mistake(IE clicked the `add alert` button)....Just disable the alert. Must be very annoying having an email for anyone frankly. Why not just go for RNS email alerts?

Reasons to be optimistic on PFC


From a near-term perspective, it seems some optimism remains possible, as above just 448p calculates as entering a cycle toward 490p next.

While perhaps not the most scintillating of notions, the key ingredient comes if 490p is bettered as our secondary comes in at 568p. Visually, given an ambition of 490p matches the highs of earlier this year, common sense demands some stutters around such a level. So, if chasing a quick trade this presents a sane target.

The 568p thing is a bit more tenuous - remembering an ultimate bottom of 180p remains, exerting its own brand of gravity. But, with closure above 490p, it becomes a difficult thing to ignore as the price could easily accelerate beyond such a point and cover the gap from 615p.

In summary, there are some very real dangers associated with this share price and a poor news report is liable to stuff it downward sharply. For now though, the visuals imply an attempt at 490p is not out of the question and hopefully, with closure above, beyond.

Not sure we have enough for shorts to reduce yet but solid contract wins whilst still under SFO investigation will get some analysts thinking, probably some revised buy recs on the way out.

Higher oil prices helps sector sentiment.

As I am holding my core long term, I'm no sir of short term moves but a test of 480p could be coming up. Their business is heavily weighted to the 2nd half, so we should see more investors buying in, some maybe come in for the divi (ex divi 21 Sept)
