12/9/2017 10:22 | Shame this isn't going much higher. Underwater here. :( | lodgeview
12/9/2017 09:27 | Thanks, Bwana. Well done. I wouldn't dare risk so much. Enjoy the sunshine. CH on here. | bouleversee
12/9/2017 09:02 | Bouleversee. I am out of the country in very nice warm weather and I post under this moniker now. I will move in 3 weeks time and post under Bwana4.I am in Turkey at the moment and I will move to North Cyprus for 2 months. ADVFN does not allow me to use the same moniker with different devices. So I have 3 Monikers. I made just over £1200 by that trade.I sold 2649 shares that I had bought at an average price of £4.08. I have a trading pot of over £12K now. I still have my core holding of 15K shares.I could have made a lot more had I traded the whole lot but I don't want to do that.I hope this explains things. Have a good day all. Apologies re O/T. Bwana. | matrix25
12/9/2017 07:56 | Until more news flow will probably move up/down according to oil price (PHTM) looking like it's finally ready for a breakout! | ny boy
12/9/2017 07:27 | Hope it doesn't do what it did yesterday. Al. | bryall2
12/9/2017 07:18 | Good start today. Strong volume too | paa65
12/9/2017 07:18 | JP Morgan today reiterates 'overweight' TP 570 | rhatton
11/9/2017 18:50 | Is matrix joined at the hip with Bwana? 🤔 | ny boy
11/9/2017 18:23 | Disclosed short trends looking quite encouraging. Blackrock actually reduced twice last week and AKO also reduced: -0.19% 4th September (AKO) -0.18% 6th September (Blackrock) -0.13% 7th September (Blackrock) Not enough to count as a rush for the exits yet, but perhaps more positive for the longs than for quite some time. | 1gw
11/9/2017 17:51 | Matrix25 Have you changed your name? Are you also Bwana? If so, you seem to have changed your tune. Perhaps I should change mine, though I suspect the amount I invest would not make it worthwhile. What sort of sum does one need to invest to make trading in the levels of ups and downs we are seeing with PFC worth the effort? As I have said before, I normally invest for the long term. How much did you make with this trade Matrix/Bwana? | bouleversee
11/9/2017 17:24 | rH Good find and nice to hear the bears are becoming more tetchy | ny boy
11/9/2017 17:22 | Blackrock reduced on the 7th. Down to 8.29% total from 8.77% last week so every little helps | rhatton
11/9/2017 17:18 | Just trading small ranges at present, higher oil prices will get it above 450p! Anyone in EME?... great stock going really well.. dyor as usual | ny boy
11/9/2017 15:00 | Well done Adejuk. I have also sold, only 3K shares @3.54 but I was top heavy with PFC. I may buy them back. I have been looking at CVSG as well and CLIN. ATB. | matrix25
11/9/2017 14:44 | i also should keep a whatever that spready thing is called but am fairly sure that i have made more than 40k since i joined this madhouse | adejuk
11/9/2017 14:42 | and i added more | adejuk
11/9/2017 14:41 | i confess - like the good jew that i am i sold at the high on friday and bought back at the low added 600 more as a result not bad for the anxiety level !!! | adejuk
11/9/2017 13:36 | is it my imagination or has the algo turned now starting higher and finishing lower | adejuk
11/9/2017 13:32 | blueruuner - just quickly as this is a PFC thread - I've made huge money in AIM stock... but lost huger!! Slow but sure makes me more money in the long term. | woodhawk
11/9/2017 12:15 | Apologies by the way as I don't want to distract from this being a PFV thread. | bluerunner
11/9/2017 12:14 | Woodhawk - You make a good point re: market cap difference between PFC and DGOC. It's also important to be comfortable with your risk level and not be sweating the small stuff during minor blips.I have less in DGOC than PFC.But my biggest gain to date was with another AIM stock - IAE - which triple-bagged for me in less than a year. I watched it for a long time before taking the plunge and added on the way up before it was taken out by Delek.I'll take a look at your tips. I recall looking at IGG after it first plunged. If memory serves, wasn't it based on concerns regarding regulation changes in that sector? | bluerunner
11/9/2017 10:30 | probably one of the most compelling stocks out their at the moment, all be it rather boring is BON 8% divi no debt new CEO been there 12 months now and making a real difference. company growing again, 200% upside easy. WJ. PS. remember when this hit 480 and i sold 15% of my holding and bought REDD well i am up 19% on that one, it pays to diversify. | w1ndjammer
11/9/2017 09:48 | 8 days until these go ex divi | ny boy
11/9/2017 09:22 | Thanks, bluerunner, I've had a quick look at DGOC but I prefer stocks with a larger market cap these days - less scope for dodgy manipulation, and easier to trade. You could have a look at IGG (similar sort recovery play to PFC) and PHNX which yields about 6.5% at current level. | woodhawk
11/9/2017 09:12 | Well, Woodhawk - I'm holding PFC for 700p due to the divi. And to answer your question, have you looked at DGOC? I've held that for a few months now - positive outlook. | bluerunner |
