BouleverseeMany reasons for selling. They think they are doing the right thing by setting a stop loss. But on a volatile share like this they are easily triggered.The big players deliberately take the price up and down tempting in over enthusiastic buyers then taking the shares back off them at their stop loss point.Or they bought at a much higher point(say 470 in this case a few weeks ago) and watched it fall to 400. Now it is back near 450 they sell at a loss as this may be as good as it gets.

So why do they sell? If nobody sells it will rise again shortly. If it comes down more, I'll be topping up again.

LodgeLooking at the volumes so far it looks like the Up-bot is not turned on yet, so only the shorters are active.Seems reasonable to me that longs wanting to build their stake let the shorters take it back down for a while, and they can then both be buying at lower levels. Both win that way.Only losers are other smaller traders who sell at a loss.

If yesterday is anything to go by PFC seems to fall a few pennies early on and then start rising from around 9am... here's hoping for another rise today to get the shorts feeling comfortable, especially as x div approaches
