Action.
There are wild swings in the share price in the Morning.I never buy shares in the Morning.You will be OK in the long run.Put a limit buy order low and if the share price falls to that level, you will do well.Nothing to loose by doing that.I think in a few Months you will be in profit anyway.Then again WTFDIK.

Nice post OOHROGERPALMER. I tottaly agree with your view.I top sliced PAYS and put the money here.

John09. I think about 16/17P per Share but the Divi will be forcast on the 30th of this Month.

I bought in Feb. @ 174.79 and they are now 157.50. However, only £3k involved so am not bothered and if your optimism is justified I should soon make that back.

No way will they cut or hold a divi, tantamount to admitting guilt!!
I have seen situations where a divi has been declared then a fine issued by SFO then divi has been cancelled before the payment date.
Until the SFO actual confirm anything then it's business as usual.

Do we think the divi may be cut or held until the SFO investigation ends? Or do you think that will be seen as a sign of admitting they did something wrong?

Disclosed shorts.

Counter-currents in play on Tuesday 15th, when the share price fell from 440p to 420p.

AQR up from 4.60% to 4.72% (+0.12%)
AKO down from 0.92% to 0.78% (-0.14%)

So a small net decrease in the overall disclosed short position, subject to any late disclosures. The previous day (14th) when Old Mutual increased its short from 0.50% to 0.60% the share price finished down just a couple of p, although it was quite a wild ride.

So either AQR's sell algorithms are disproportionately destructive to the share price, or AKO's buy algorithms don't leave a ripple, or something else was happening on Tuesday - under-the-radar shorts increasing or some longs reducing?

Mr.25%.
I did say be patient but you went and bought again at 4.26. I am still holding on to my cash. I also did say Shortrs are going to do all sorts before the results.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.I will buy when I think the time is right. Also don't buy shares before 9.30 AM. I have two tranches left to buy before the 30th. I want that Divi.
My average is 4.40 at the moment. I don't loose any sleep over PFC.

Lodge was crying first about the Indics, now he is crying over PFC. It will come good but you have to show patience. Lodge seems to have none.Lodge I have a bit more invested here then you.Don't play the Market with money you can't afford to loose.
I hope you do well in the long run.Without patience you will loose for sure.

It is a very volatile share....So no point complaining when it goes against you....Its gone against me- Called it wrong...Had av 446...didnt sell at 484 now in loss. Thats the way it goes sometimes....

You are right re: we should not allow ourselves to have any emotions here,whatever the outcome or the risks.
It has been a hard lesson and a very expensive one for me to learn but I am getting there.

its down about 15% from the spike to 483p

not a lot to cry about yet IMO

if you can't handle this you're either overexposed or not able to invest without emotion

no good having sleepless nights its only money

I will try to avoid further buying until or unless this goes sub 400 as I would like to be able to buy more at the bottom if possible wherever that is. :-)

If this is a poker game, then we just need to have enough money to call the shorter's bluff.

What's the big deal about REDD? I have held for some time and am losing over 9%.

There's something very strange going on with PFC share price Can't understand why it's this low.
