21/8/2017 09:00 | Perky again, I guess as 30th Aug approaches..... | ny boy
20/8/2017 22:36 | Oil prices fell significantly this week, although they regained some ground on Friday. Reports of weak Chinese demand deflated the market, but a rather bullish EIA report, a weaker U.S. dollar and a falling rig count provided a bit of a lift. Energy Aspects: Oil prices should be $10 higher. The rapid decline of U.S. oil inventories in recent months suggests the market is tighter than everyone thinks. “Prices should be $10 higher given where the fundamentals are,” Amrita Sen, chief oil analyst at Energy Aspects, told the WSJ. She said that investors have been too worried about rising U.S. oil production. “The market is so obsessed with supply. If U.S. output is going up and stocks are drawing that is an extremely bullish development,” she said, arguing that rising demand is being overlooked. | ny boy
20/8/2017 21:49 | Bids due this week, I wonder who gets the contract ?? | ny boy
19/8/2017 11:32 | RHatton, good post. | redcarpdog
18/8/2017 20:48 | Oil closed up 3%!! | ny boy
18/8/2017 19:49 | Ny Boy. The Fools are foolish. I don't ever believe a word they write. They just want you to part with your money same as the Shorters on here. No one knows where we are going to be regards the Divi.I just hope the BOD would not change their mind because reducing the Divi or not paying it amounts to them admitting guilt.I am quite confident that we will get the Divi. I am top heavy in PFC. I mean in the game of Poker I have a Full House. If I buy any more PFC then I would have to sell some PFC to put back into PAYS. Don't know what is going to happen to PAYS regarding the Bid. I am between a rock and a hard place at the moment to choose. Not a big problem at the moment. ATB and have a good weekend all. | callmebwana
18/8/2017 19:10 | This write up came out on 26 June actually the share price then was roughly where it is today but of course the Company has won several very big contracts. | ny boy
18/8/2017 18:56 | rHatton, no dea what's going to happen re the divi, they could cut it in half or just leave it, guess depends on their cash position. We will know on 30 August, so only 7 trading days to go! At least oil got a spike after the close, so bodes well if it keeps current levels into tonight's close. | ny boy
18/8/2017 18:40 | "Apparently" does not mean the same as "possibly"; the opposite in fact. | bouleversee
18/8/2017 17:06 | Hence the word....`apparently` | nicebut
18/8/2017 17:01 | Disclosed shorts. Capeview decreased their short on 16th (Wednesday) from 0.76% to 0.68%. So the disclosures so far for moves this week have been: Monday - Old Mutual up 0.10% Tuesday - AKO down 0.14%, AQR up 0.12% Wednesday - Capeview down 0.08% So two-way trade going on with the disclosed shorts, 2 increasing and 2 decreasing and as it happens exactly cancelling out for the 3 days . And for the longs, Deutsche Bank's most recent move (Tuesday) was to increase its long position. With the share price down here I would have thought it might be tempting for those shorts in profit to take some of it before the results & dividend announcement on 30th. The same for the longs I suppose, but I suspect there aren't many longs in profit at the moment. | 1gw
18/8/2017 16:55 | nicebut - you seem to have missed the fact that it has not been confirmed yet unless there has been some announcement today of which I am unaware. | bouleversee
18/8/2017 16:38 | Well Ive got 40k of these now... Divi yield is 12.56% apparently. So bring it on... | nicebut
18/8/2017 16:30 | I don't understand when you day shorters will have to pay the divi. It doesn't matter as the share price drops by that amount so it's cash neutral! | lodgeview
18/8/2017 16:20 | NY Boy, what to do you think their scope is to pay a special divi or at least raise the interim amount? | rhatton
18/8/2017 16:05 | Garycook.LOL! Wrong, I am the Alpha male here in this household. Machine working fine now. Thunder storm saved me from hedge trimming. I am off for my three Months travelling. Just finishing the Do List slowley. She reminds me often. PFC will do it's thing. I am not rushing to top up either. You never know what the Shorters have in mind ! Shortes are showing @ 8.75%. So have in fact gone up!! Next week should be very interesting. Only 7 Trading days left before the Results. Nicebut, I don't think there is anymore bad news to come. Well I hope there isn't. I think all is factored in the share price now. Shorters will have to show their hand some time or pay the Divi.AIMHO. | callmebwana
18/8/2017 15:51 | Current divi (not confirmed yet) 12.2% ..are you having a laarf!! It's a no brainier buy in my books Sir! | ny boy
18/8/2017 15:27 | With a share price in the doldrums do you get all the bad news out the way?? Or not, as you say business as usual?....Just asking like... | nicebut
18/8/2017 11:59 | CMB,She,s the Boss then. LOL | garycook
18/8/2017 11:47 | LOL. Madam, you have a very good sense of humor as well. SFO and the Shorters are the reason for the low price,me thinks. All will slowley become clear.I don't think the Divi will be changed, if the BOD change it, it would amount to admitting guilt. I don't think a takeover is someting to fear as the SFO are involved at the moment. More like PFC making a bid for Wood Group if anything regarding consolidation is to take place in this sector. Well I have been told that I have to repair the Washing Machine, cut the hedges and do some man chores !!! :o/ Wishing you luck with whatever you decide to do,and a good day. | callmebwana |
