And to think of all his utterances " on returning value to shareholders". Would all have been different if BOD has supported Craven rather than him not many years back!

Big Brain will look after himself as he always has done.His reign in management has been marked by a tremendous appetite but sheer incompetence. Only someone of his stature could waste so much money in an area with so much oil (Dinarta)The end game looks to be fairly bad for all shareholders including WV.GLTA

nextull, I don't need tw to tell me bond holders have control of this, question is who do you need to tell you before you believe? banks have only agreed a stay to give the company chance to come to some agreement with wc so the bank can get some of the money owed because its in the banks interest to do so because as soon as pci are allowed to default bond holders hold the whip and equity is toast.

why would the bankers who now control agree to give money to shareholders
more likely banks first...then mgmt..anything left the equity fools

And your source for the asset sale and an what price? Don't forget the shares have already rallied c80% since news of WV were running the rule over the company and you think there is more to come when debt is being hawk about at 35cents in the $. Madness! Its possible there may be a spin on news to sucker bbm in but that wont last because that just allows shorts to beat them down again.

Petro is already in default on $190 of its debt and I suspect the banks are just waiting to see what WV offer before pulling the plug. If WV are the only interested party y could offer anything and tell the banks and guess what?

equity here is toast, bond holder have this one, anyone expecting a premium recovery from here is deluded. Best case, sell your shares and go short and recover some of your losses.
