26/2/2016 11:44 | I may buy at 5p, not sure we'll see 3p even with the board's announcement Monday. | onetomany
26/2/2016 11:11 | Gentlemen, It is dangerous to claim to know the contents of documents that one has not seen. However, WV would not have gone to the expense of preparing for this bid without squaring the banks and, within that agreement, would have included the point that the banks could not back out. 26/2/2016 11:00 | 12.5p be quick ! | rallyman2
26/2/2016 10:59 | Doug you mean 12.5p | dins1249
26/2/2016 10:43 | I may buy some at 2.5p for a punt | douglas macarthur
26/2/2016 10:42 | worldview will get it but for a better price , they will not let the company fail as its worth more to them as a going concern for them to asset strip and the bod know this thus the "were far apart" hang on for the next few offers | rallyman2
26/2/2016 10:37 | In default on their debt and bonds at 35p in the £. Learn the lessons from AFREN. WV offer extremely generous. You won't get a better one. I remember all the BS at AFREN about greedy Bondholders and offers about to be made and that was when Oil was at a much higher price. | sweet karolina
26/2/2016 10:26 | Worldview are a bunch of chancers and what's taking place here perfectly sums up the disgusting behaviour of the "CITY". The sooner the revolution comes the better and then all these types will hopefully get their comeuppance a la madam guillotine style.......... | ladeside
26/2/2016 10:19 | recomend it , think they have already stated do not sell | rallyman2
26/2/2016 10:16 | I think you'll see the board recommend to accept the offer. The fact they haven't been able to dismiss it suggests they can't. Not good, I'd be selling at 10p and waiting for a gamble once their proper response comes out. | onetomany
26/2/2016 10:15 | now 4 times the offer price looks like worldview want it and as they have the most to lose looks like they will have to pay to get it 16p+ min fill yr boots any big oiler want an asset for a rainy day ....let the bids come in | rallyman2
26/2/2016 10:10 | Elrico - I already admitted I'm not in. I used to be - big (for me!). And had PCI shares for very long time. But your comment makes sme laugh. If someone came to your door tomorrow and told you your house or car was worth nothing, then you would just hand it over would you? No I think not. I don't mean to shock, but WV have a vested interest. Were would the BOD get the money? Even within Ireland I'm sure they could get a few friends to beat the WV bid by a long way. Sure there is debt. And the oil share price is in the pits. But Oil will come back and there is a lot peeps in the biz who say it will be much sooner rather than later. (...and I know a lot of PCI is gas!) | gerhart
26/2/2016 10:07 | WV are the only people who are going to make any sort of bid for the equity. They are only doing it so they do now get wiped out themselves. Anyone else who wants the assets only needs to buy the debt and they could probably do that at 40p in the £. | sweet karolina
26/2/2016 10:05 | now 4 times the offer price looks like worldview want it and as they have the most to lose looks like they will have to pay to get it 16p+ min fill yr boots | rallyman2
26/2/2016 10:01 | Did I not say....I told you so. Gerhart - And where do you think management are going to magic the money for a buyout? Then there's the debt and now a public bid of 3p when the bidders has stated the equity is worth 0 no bank is going to back a bid above 3p. | elrico
26/2/2016 09:20 | RM,It's game on now! Hard to know why WV pitched its bid so low. Must be trying to fish out other parties. Dragon,BP etc will be watching events.... | hermana3
26/2/2016 09:10 | it shows pci is worth something and as a "whole" company is best for the buyer so we will see a lot better offer and even at 16p its a steal | rallyman2
26/2/2016 09:10 | Big Brain promised transformation and we surely got it.Wee Tom has seen his reputation in tatters for following round after BB.WV are in the driving seat with poor Brain is just a passenger, though he is still sitting on his throne!GLTA | seangwhite
26/2/2016 09:09 | Sp fighting back! | swerves1
26/2/2016 08:58 | The Board of Petroceltic International plc ("Petroceltic") notes the announcement made earlier today by Sunny Hill Limited, a company wholly owned by the Worldview Economic Recovery Fund, of its firm intention to make an all cash offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Petroceltic other than the Petroceltic Shares in the beneficial control of Worldview International Management Limited SEZC and/or any of the Worldview Funds. Petroceltic will make a statement in due course. In the meantime, Petroceltic shareholders are urged to take no action. | oilretire
26/2/2016 08:41 | OK Simon, so what prevents the failed management doing a buy out at 3p+++? | gerhart
26/2/2016 08:39 | the parties remain far apart says it all , don't sell | rallyman2
26/2/2016 08:33 | Gentlemen, There is no chance of a bid in excess of 3p. The bidder controls PCI and has already squared the banks. The banks would be mad to open up discussions again. The proper price right now is 2.8p bid to 2.9p offer. Simon Cawkwell | simon cawkwell |
