It might not be anything but in the interim statement they mention the companies Iraqi director Riadh Ani has resigned to move into public service. I wonder maybe and it is a big maybe could that be Iraqi public service? and in which case could it be in the energy /oil dept? If it was and it's a huge if, I'm guessing that could be rather good. imo dyor.

Iraq, by the sound of things, is starting to improve politically so you never know they might get something done.

It's a high risk stock. If they get an area to drill this will go ballistic and if they don't it won't.

They have been doing it for years, keeps the lights on , pays the auditors and listing fees, flights and expenses.
Means that the shared admin expenditure amongst 4-5 companies benefits from economies of scale...

The new Iraqi Government plans to streamline contract awards and fiscal terms so as to deliver increased output for Iraq's economic development.

The trouble is Iraq is slow at doing anything, so when will this happen? Will PET sit on their hands until they get a PSA - they need to jump at anything! I don't care what it is now, something to prove their worth would be a starter.

I'm probably missing something but what is the point of raising "GBP250,000 (before expenses)". In the scheme of things it's an insignificant amount of money.
