06/6/2022 18:48 | Thank you Chairman , life has been very unlucky last few years and not getting any younger as just turned 60. Lets hope DH can bring pet home after all these years of waiting!!! | joeblogg2
06/6/2022 16:00 | Very sorry to hear that joeblogg2 as it is never nice to lose money. For what it is worth I used to be in the likes of Pan Andean and CLON but many moons ago now. I thought about buying a few CLON as a punt on this drill but in the end I didn't. My reasoning was that the placing, dilution plus of course risk/reward was just not attractive enough. The only people who possibly made any money were the Aussie placees. As DH has stated CLON were always going to be a very high risk/reward play based on this drill where as PET are a totally different investment play. It is more than very interesting to note where JT actually invested his £300,000 !!!! | the chairman elect
06/6/2022 14:16 | should have got Dussel to invest it!!! | joeblogg2
06/6/2022 14:16 | if only block 6 would, I too took a 4k hit on Clon :( | joeblogg2
06/6/2022 14:12 | The next crypto coin to go mega is called BLOCK 6 | the chairman elect
06/6/2022 14:10 | Sounds fascinating. On crypto, I took a look a month ago but didn't dip my toe, all those I was watching dropped significantly, but then I believe that was the case pretty much across the market. The list of currencies is mind boggling - 99% come to nothing of course. Like everything, picking the winners is the half the battle. | holdingtight
06/6/2022 13:39 | holdingtight - thanks, I'm submerged in the world of digital tokens/nfts - you need to ride the winners which is half the battle, especially if you need funds elsewhere. I'm fortunate enough to have made sufficient money that I can make emotion free/financial pressure free decisions. Goblintown is an NFT collection that whilst 6eth ($11,500) now after being released 'free' (yep, could have got them free a couple of weeks back), I see at 25eth - ~$50k+ perhaps double that. explaining why to someone outside of the NFT space makes me sound like a madman - it's all to do with a global gaming and NFT culture and one of the worlds best funded projects potentially being behind it (several $bn capital), celebrities, sports personalities and influencers adopting and the increasing prevalence/relevance of digital vs. physical assets... Anyway, my current broad recommendation for non-crypto but curious people remains "slow buy ethereum every month. Cost averaging. When it goes 10x in next 5 years, you'll do well. Ignore price moves now." | dusseldorf
06/6/2022 13:23 | That's incredible, well done Dusseldorf, not an area I know anything about, I'd almost certainly pick one of three thousands that sank or stalled ! | holdingtight
06/6/2022 11:46 | Meanwhile in crypto land I bought 'Goblintown' nfts at $200 last week, this week they are worth $10k each, and I'm not even joking - web3, the new 'gold rush' | dusseldorf
06/6/2022 11:41 | It was a binery bet over @ CLON which is one of various reasons why AYE am @ PET which is clearly NOT a binery bet! | the chairman elect
06/6/2022 11:39 | "ERCE estimates the Sasanof Prospect to contain a 2U Prospective Resource of 7.2 Trillion Cubic Feet (Tcf) gas and 176 Million barrels (bbls) condensate (P50), with a high case 3U Prospective Resource estimate of 17.8 Tcf gas and 449 Million bbls condensate (P10). " ...4 days later: " The Sasanof-1 exploration well has been drilled to a total depth of 2,390 metres (RMDT) by the Valaris MS-1 rig, without incident. -- No commercial hydrocarbons were intersected. -- As planned, the well will now be plugged and permanently abandoned. -- De-mobilisation activities will then commence. " You can't make this stuff up really. | dusseldorf
06/6/2022 09:28 | "The Chairman Elect 6 Jun '22 - 08:12 - 20473 of 20474 Could you [latest TROLL] please remind me what % that PET had in the CLON drill?" So TCE - you do not think that reputation, track record of complete failure , gambling new shareholders (not directors) money , counts for nothing then? The same premises, the same directors , the same failure , the same approach to taking shareholders cash..... Many investors appraise their investments by judging the people they invest in. Ever watched Dragon's Den ? I guess desperate gamblers are not so fussy.... | fenners66
06/6/2022 09:24 | That has to be the funniest post of the day lippe...... | fenners66
