China's GDP rebounds greater than expectations, up 4.5% (vs 4% est) in Q1 and grows at fastest pace in a year. March Retail sales with a big beat at 10.6% vs 7.5% est. Good news for the diamond market ;-)

Nice stone recovery by GEMD at the weekend, noticed a bit of buying on Friday there late in the day...looking good for a decent bounce in the sector me thinks..

The Directors have tottaly screwed the shareholders here now.
Next update won't read much better either as there is no good news this year.
Stay way clear of this for at least a year. 3.6m Carats down to 2.8m for guidance 2023 is shocking.
Bondholders have milked this dry and will continue to. Hopefully the directors will deferr their bonuses after this ???
After reading the last update I sold completely out in the 90s thank god.

I can see 50s at some point this year.

The company were going so well 6 months ago.. now look. What a mess. Hope the management will think twice about taking their huge pay rise. Nah, course they won't.

AZVALOR increase their holdings in Petra from 5.27% to 10.1% .
Thats a huge increase of £10m worth of shares purchased which is remarkable considering how low the volume has been lately.
They must of been buying every sell that has occurred over the last few months.
I'm going put this out there but only my opinion !!
Is Petra going private ???
