Wow 12p the other week and now 2.7p, I know markets are tanking currently but surely a huge move in order assuming markets complete the correction and turn north again.

$147m cash. They have liquidity.Diamonds just another precious resource, like gold.They have a valuable asset and bundles of QE will make it even more valuable medium/long term. ATB

Some funny comments today...All the doom and gloom experts are out trying to save u all money from investing....I wonder why they are all so helpful?? When the share rises and it will they will be all gone. I have seen it many times. The company's going bust etc etc and years later the company is still going and share price is a lot higher. Good luck all those invested. Don't let the scaremongering get the better of you

From a demand perspective, buying a diamond is not the same as buying consumer goods... so presumably those looking to buy now are holding off until virus concerns go.. then they come back, it's different from other consumables where you never get the sale back.....Question is does Petra have enough cash to see it through?

they got about $30m cash left now ex inventory and minus 12m bee payment

they fail debt ratio cash test so waiver gonna be needed

Would think the CEO will get the debt payments refinanced to buy time to recover from the virus hit market, which wont last that long. Premature to call it end game imo but the timing of this crisis is bad, just as the company had a plan in place to recover and generate cash.

I'm back in at these 4p levels.. it's a punt given market.. and there are many 'ifs'.. but markets operate off a large dose of sentiment, and less fundamentals.. and sentiment has an uncanny knack of changing fast... yes lots of debt, but a decent company here too that has been hurt by continuous decline in diamond market.. at 4p worth a punt for me! Yep it could be wiped out.. but also could equally double.. my money's on the latter!!
