'..on track to meet or exceed..'. Revenue down 6% verses 2019, but that's a decent improvement from Q1, but does include the sale of 20 carat blue diamond.

Revenue for the corresponding half last year was US$207.1 million .
I'm expecting it to be quite a bit lower this time.

I take comfort from the RNS dated 30th July 2019 in reaction to the downturn in the share price following their trading/results update.All things considered it would be reasonable to conclude that things have improved yet the share price has failed to reflect that,notwithstanding the recent modest rally.
All will be revealed on Monday but I remain optimistic. As always,DYOR

Not sure with regard to specifics of stones sold but will be looking for a positive statement re a price uptick per carat sold in the 2nd quarter. Could do with a few more of those blues!

Agree Dave on the sustained recovery in diamond prices, I was thinking more in terms of what 'gems' we might see in the H1 results Monday.. any significant improvement in cash flow should also trigger a rerating.. looking forward to Monday!

The key thing is the sustained recovery in diamond prices, from the research I have done the signs are very promising and the corner appears to have been turned. I do think the shares were heavily over sold down in the 2nd half of last year and that as long as they can keep the cash coming in to reduce the debt then the market will rerate them considerably higher. Fingers crossed for positive news on Monday.

What are your thoughts Dave for H1? Continued production increase (as per Q1), as diamond prices have nudged up in last two months, better UPG, of course sale of the 20.08 blue diamond positively helping operational cash flow.. should see continued improvement on overall FCF. It will be interesting to see the trades that come through later today... and as you say directors likely frustrated they can't take advantage of lower share price during closed period..

Expect to see the directors buying once the update has been released.They must be deeply disappointed in the share price performance,and no doubt frustrated that they cannot take advantage of the low level to which it has sunk.DYOR

GEMD seems slightly ahead turning around. About time Petra found another big stone.. solid company, diamond market showing recovery signs.. hopefully start of nice up trend.. I'm staying put with my investment and will continue to average up as it moves from support levels.

Indeed, little resistance on the way down, boded well for recovery, especially given significant consolidation at the lower levels.. nice to see.

Inverse head and shoulders reversal pattern, breaking out of resistance ahead of trading update.

Should move quick with todays close above resistance line.
